Anonymous, 04 Sep 2023The last phone that exploded was the note 7 in 2016... It&... morePoco as a brand is 5 years old only and X3 Pro and M3 basically were like first or second generation in there own series.

Also Note 7 batteries exploded in airplanes in high altitude where the SD810 was idle and cant be blamed at. These batteries technology got banned also and have got nothing to do with SD810 over heating as SD810 is not banned to use.

Also Note in Samsung is like S Ultra as there best premium flagship they have to offer.
If that exploding can happen on there best device then why not on cheaper series phones ? Or some other issues like also motherboard defect. Now you cant come at me and say that there was few cases on Poco 2 budget middle class killer series with motherboard issues and now it's expected to be on all that Poco release even tough there was even a ceo who got fired for it.

We are in a Samsung Versus Poco topic here so if motherboard issue is expected from Poco series cause they had 2 models in India market that had the issue and CEO was fired for it too for a 5 years old brand they can't learn from there mistakes ? Especially at the time they were 3 years old brand. No chance is given by the spectators in here for Poco so why should i give any chance for Samsung even tough 7 years there phones have not commonly exploded anymore. As samsung is a brand from the 1990s from all types of electronic devices and also the early NMT phones too. They have long history on making phones with all types of issues on either hardware defects or software problems. If to dig enough we can make a list of issues from Samsung phones then we can compare to a young 5 year old Poco brand.

                          Camera difference is not worlds apart to say one is way better then the other.
                          OS part is also for people who know the difference in features. If someone have used Samsung phones for 10 years then of curse all other OS are trash to them as they need to learn how to navigate the other OS they are not use to using.

                          Also who cares about value dropping in electronics ? It's totally normal that when electronics get old they lose there value cause a lot of new electronics come out like daily that gets better and better. Only thing to care about is when you use the phone maximum a year and then sell it to pay less for a new phone. I bought F5 for my self and i expect it to last 5 years for me before i get any ideas that i need a new phone. At the point of 5 years the phone wont cost much at all.

                              The competitor of Redmi series is Galaxy A11, Galaxy A12, etc. (Because redmi has low brand value also)

                              The competitor of Xiaomi series is Galaxg A21, Galaxy A22 etc. (Because xiaomi is low brand value phone also inferior phone)

                              The competitor of Mix series is Galaxy A31, Galaxy A32, etc.
                              (Becaus mix series is a samsung/iphone wannabe)

                              Popular brand like Samsung should be compared with another popular brand.

Even tough i had Redmi note 5 Ai Dual Cam before F5 for 5 years and i dont know about any ads as people also say that you can turn off ads that i didnt do but never seen ads in that. I dont expect to see ads also in F5 and have not seen any for using the phone for over 2 months now.

                                    Maybe the ads are based on region like China and India only while the global version that actually means European version dont have these ads what people talk about.

                                    To be honest i dont even understand the ads thing what that even mean ? Like when i go to settings then start to see random ads ? Nope never have happened to me. If apps from Xiaomi have ads then who cares as i dont use the apps. Like basically every app in modern day have ads. Even Pi Coin mining have ads that make no sense when the app basically mining money

                                      It's like saying that all Snapdragon still overheat due the SD810 overheating

                                        On paper, the F5 imo wins overall. Samsung really put out a weak fight with the A54. First, it doesn't need to be that heavy. Second, effin bezel for that price and weight, embarrassing, resulting a small screen in a large body. And then the another embarrassing Exynos that lags worse than even a lowly Dimensity 1080. The only thing going for it is the IP rating and OneUI.

                                        But Poco does have its problems as well in real world use. And the technically superior hardware is useless with short supported and buggy MiUI.

                                        It's sad that consumers actually have weak choices in this segment today. Better save a bit more and either get the S21FE or save the money and get A34. Only get the F5 if you're into gaming on a budget
