MT SOC ans Samsung camera sensor... No thankyou

    Many people seriously don't care about update.
    And xos is quite stable. Seriously When I used it was quite smooth on 120hz. Even other brand lag hi on 120hz.

      This phone remind me of iphone 11.
      When it was released, 11 can also record in 4k 60fps.
      iPhone 14 is crap.

        The phone looks good, but there is always a compromise for the low price, and that's the update support.

                They are the only ones that can bring premium hardware to the general masses ..

                While everyone else forced snapdragon in foldables and make the price massive

                They are smart for using mediatek..

                1)get a processor that's just decent lower the barrier for entry

                2) sell high volumes

                3) higher volume then equals even more decrease in cost
                4)higher volume products means more customer feedback
                5) more feedback means more improvement on said product type

                Keep the momentum pushing it's a good look

                  my only concern, honestly, is the software update situation; its no secret that infinix is terrible with supporting their phones long-term (the gt 10 pro is supposedly only guaranteed 1 os upgrade and 2 years of security updates)

                  otherwise, this is a pretty compelling package imo; the design and specs are great, and the pricing is pretty reasonable

                        You are right, it wouldn't hurt to have them, but it's simply not a deal breaker for people who will never need them.

                          I get it, you don't like the term "vegan leather", but that's one of the names for fake leather, or artificial leather.

                          Then again isn't vegan meat also an oxymoron? Just saying, because that also exists and neither of these are new.

                            The price is just fine. The thing is the build of cruved display, which is rare to see feels like a flagship level as the PHANTOM X2.

                            As for the camera, it use the same rear sensor on GT 10 Pro, NOTE 30 VIP, and NOTE 30 Pro. It's an upgrade from ZERO 20, iirc.

                            I do expect it might be more expensive than NOTE 30 VIP, GT 10 Pro for the display, and 50MP front facing camera with 4K60 without any stutters that no other brands with D8020/D8050 do 4K60.

                            The review from GSMArena will be coming soon, so I saw them their progress in the spec sheet.

                              The Zero 30 has a 13mp ultrawide with AF, it doubles as the macro sensor, thus making the phone have a 13mp macro camera. Depth sensors are useless. So 123˚ vs 120˚ is that big of a deal to you when it comes to the ultrawide FoV? Yeah sure.

                              The Infinix also has the better display tho.

                              What exactly are you trying to prove here apart from the fact that you need an SD Card slot and a headphone jack? Go get a phone that has both of them then. Altough I assume you already have one.

                              It's very interesting that you seem to like the Infinix GT 10 Pro, which has a very clearly re-branded Dimensity 1300 in it, called the Dimensity 8050.

                              The Dimensity 1300 was already a re-brand of the Dimensity 1200, which is from early 2021. Yet you still seem to like that phone. Well, would you look at that, it has an SD Card slot and a headphone jack.

                              The thing is, the Zero 30 could've been launched with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and 5 years of promised OS updates, but no SD Card slot and no headphone jack, for 250 usd and you would still hate it, because of the latter 2 things.

                                  The Samsung UW has a larger FoV, it also has a 5mp macro, 5mp depth sensor and while it's 4k support is 30fps it also has gyro EIS which the Infinix doesn't.

                                    Are you being deliberately obtuse? The difference there is the A52s is 2 years old, so of course the SOC is also old. Whereas the Infinix was released *today* but with an SOC that is a repurposed D1100 from 3 years ago.

                                    The chips perform fairly similar overall. But one is being used on a 2 year old phone, the other is being used in a 1 day old phone. And the A52s got years of support. Whereas the Infinix will be lucky to get one.

                                      So, the 778G scores better in AnTuTu 9, but Dimensity 8020 scores better in GeekBench and overall the latter seems to be the better, more powerful and more capable chipset.

                                      Spec-wise, the Zero 30 has better cameras on both sides, 4k 60fps video capture support on both sides as opposed to no support at all. The Zero 30 has a bigger battery with much faster charging and comes with all the accessories needed. The Galaxy however has an SD Card slot and headphone jack, that's why you prefer that.
