Do you realize how ridiculous you sound? That was a DECADE ago. The Xperia has been redesigned many times over since then. Don't kid yourself that it has the same exact design flaws. You're a Sony hater, and clearly incapable of recognizing that a decade old product has no bearing on the latest product from a company. I mean the iPhone 14 Pro Max looks nothing like the iPhone 5S, yet both were or are top of the line.

If Soli chip do not comeback this is a hard pass for me !
I would even buy the product if they further improve soli integration and usability
Do not like the design, find their old design to be better, though. I like the concept to not needing to touch your phone to interact with.

I said farewell to S about 10 years ago when they refused to fix, replace or refund the Xperia, known for overheating and switching off the camera. never looked back. and that was their flagship. Never had a worse phone.
Happily, came back to Motorola and I have been happy for the last 10+ years with one short fascination with Apple (which I sold after a year :) )

Coast, 03 Sep 2023Expandable storage is not dead, smartphone makers want it to beWho wants to carry 512GB worth of data around with them on a device that could easily be lost/broken/damaged to the point where that local storage could easily disappear in an instant. I'd rather be backing this all up elsewhere and keeping just what I need on the device personally. It all depends on usage though at the end of the day, do you have a lot of large apps? Do you have a lot of RAW photos? Do you take a lot of full res videos? If so then maybe yeah you need that extra storage.

Samsung leaked price, but only one FIGURE is quoted the TOTAL inclusive of VAT.
What they APPEARS to have occurred is "VAT " was further added to the leaked figures (because Europeans can't do percentages?)
Furthermore when you pay for an item only then on the TILL RECEIPT will you see how much VAT was included.
In instances where a person is NOT liable to pay VAT, they have to claim it back from the Tax Authorities
Rarely are two prices presented this way.

Sounds like an inaccurate rumor, but then you remember it's Google and they're more than capable of doing something like this. It would be justified if these devices shipped with SD8Gen2 or Gen3 but with an Exynos processor - this is basically DOA.

Someone had to dream up these prices. If the prices go up that much, there won't be a 9 generation. Because no one is willing to pay that much for a Pixel. Just remember how many bugs reports there hawe ben on thes phones.
