      By the way, tensor g3 is not based on exunos 2400, it is based on E2300.

        Pixel Fold 2 might actually be decent next year if it uses the same chip. I always wait for that 3rd generation with a smartphone.

          The Tensor T3 will be 9-Core. Samsung Exynos 2400 will be 10 -Core.
          The time line imo simply doesn't support this change so Kate in the production cycle

          Samsung has acquired Lin Jun-Cheng given the expertise in FOWLP it could be a fair conclusion to make.

            Google could try spying less too. Maybe even reject Play Store apps that use too much background data?

            I was wondering why my new ROG Phone 7 had only average battery life, then I realized that everything had background data permission after app migration. GIGABYTES of background data. Google was the worst, with each of their apps using hundreds of MB without ever being used. I turned off background data and background battery use for everything that doesn't need it. Now it's great.

            Yeah, I imagine that a phone loaded with Google's software would constantly overheat and run slowly.

                      Tensor G3 is based on Exynos 2300 as it uses X3 cores & SF4 (4LPP). Exynos 2400 uses Cortex X4 and SF4P (4LPP+)

                        Why not use the latest arm CPU cores? Considering the fact that it's Samsung foundry, they should use all the efficiency they can possibly get.

                        I can't wait till 2025 for them to switch to tsmc fab 😭

The argument of Xperia's having overheating issues immediately dies when you realize:
                          A. They're working 2x-3x as hard, depending on the phone you're comparing it to.
                          B. They stop recording before they need to start dropping frames.
