Casio, 13 Sep 2023So THAT'S the reason for the stock price drop of Apple, lolstock price of apple dropped because investors are not happy that their country USA does not have the expertise to produce iphones but only brand them. hahahaha.

Anonymous, 17 Sep 2023I hope my country won't get this batchhope your country would get chinese made batch and hope u would not regret.

Anonymous, 13 Sep 2023Made in India? No thanks :)No one cares about you. You can continue using chinese iphones. lol thanks.

Chinese products are never known for quality. Why don't they produce iphones in USA instead? don't have the expertise?

Anonymous, 13 Sep 2023EwwAs a Indian i would prefer and trust an Indian made iPhone which I'm currently using than a Chinese made or western made. Western countries are only good in branding and marketing but they can't produce a single quality thing in their countries that's why they outsource manufacturing to other countries lol

Kriegsherr, 23 Sep 2023Theoretically they should be same but really they are not. As long as you manage to get hands on all varieties of the exact product, it would rather be difficult to judge.

The truth is, we'll never know what country manufactures what we use daily, from our personal hygiene items to clothing as well as electronic items and vehicles.

About what you said about Lenovo if they will buy Fujitsu, that would be a horrible thing. I hope they will not do this, and I would like a Japanese company to rescue Fujitsu.

Fujitsu was NOT ... moreI'm not 100% sure if all Fujitsu phones are completely outsourced to Foxconn, but the devices I managed to check (the Arrows M05 and Arrows Be4, which are older devices at this point) lists Foxconn in their build properties.

If they're about to partner with Lenovo for their mobile devices, it's highly likely their phones would be rebranded Motorola devices.

It appears that the current Fujitsu laptops depend on Lenovo for their designs.

Fujitsu was NOT outsourced to Foxconn, Sharp is and probably Sony too(but I think some Sony phones are still made in Japan, at least this is what I have read on a website).
Back to Fujitsu, there are some rumors that they will make a partnership with Lenovo. We will see about that these days. What is indeed true, is about the PC division of Fujitsu. That was indeed sold to Lenovo in 2018 I guess.

Take clothing brands such as Nike, Adidas etc., their country of production doesn't define their quality.
After all, no brand is safe from outsourcing and licensing, including vehicles and technological equipment.

Mobilemaster, 13 Sep 20231.I doubt all Nikon cameras are being made outside of Japan... moreSharp, Sony, Fujitsu, HTC (yup, HTC still retails in minute quantities in Japan, not the Wingtech-based phones for the international market) and InFocus mobile phones, as well as their R&D are completely outsourced to Foxconn via brand licensing. It's extremely profitable for Foxconn since a lot of Microsoft's debts for their Lumia phones appear to be unpaid at the time they retracted from the market, which appears to be a burden to Nokia.

All of those phones list the ODM as "FIH Mobile" and the manufacturer as "Honhai Precision Industry Ltd." instead of the brand names in their respective build properties files.

A lot of grey imported Japanese dumpster fire phones leaked into our country's local phone market prove this, and the fact that they're total paperweights with our country's cellular bands.
