              keep calm bois, you can't get it cheaper else smuggling will start from India. Earlier Indians used to get it from US to save some bucks, now Indians living abroad will start getting it from India and even sell to make profits. US nationals doesn't give a f on Apple's costing, they get it to make America Great, 1K phone for everyone, economic boom.

                            Part was already made outside Japan, then they decided to stop making cameras at Semdai factory.

                                2.I know about Sharp and Foxconn, but Sharp still owns like 34 percent and let us not forget Sharp is mostly sold in Japan. So Sharp phones must have what the Japanese love, and they still have some factories.
                                And there is Kyocera. Their phones are actually built in Japan, and those are very expensive.
