Sorry, continue:
2) ..no way to find apps you like without serious charge
3) Closed or severlily restricted aproach to file system: you can't acces it. Only individuall apps can, only in their own manner. No File Manager, no sharing files even (!) between appps on your phone.
4) ...not that i'm really sure about this one, but still: apple were degrading their older phones with soft updates to make them work slower. It was proven, they wery judged to fine here in europe.
5) Lower battery life, althoug cpu is hitting top in tests, they do throttle under load - why then put powerful cpu in.
6) Not expandable storage -like never. Bought 4/64 and want go filming your vacation? Go suffer. ;.(
So, my point is not that apple be worse, no! But they certainly are. .. specific.
In android we have much free apps, we also have community, and free sofrware foundation. More often expandale storage, then not. Proper file manager ;) So i certainly agree that iphones are nicely mafe products, but i'm scared off because of their dubious usability for me.
In Android world you would just go chooose, what is right for you, which is not always easy, but there is a choice, and there is broader possiblities for apps you like, and customization. Cheers all!

1) Proprietary approach to everything: if apple didn't produce it/approved it - no way it would work on your device.
2) Higher prices for all, you probable can't find

The premium look and feel doesn't make the device work better. The omission of things like an audio jack and expandable memory is just something shameful, especially because you pay premium for premium and you get less. A nice body and materials is not what makes the phone work. Sure, premium shit most of the time has powerful chip-sets but lack in the battery department. So on paper you're phone is more future proof because or the chosen chip but has bullshit batteries (please stop imitating iPhone with their ridiculous battery capacities). Refresh rates are not an argument as even budget phones have 90Hz and 120Hz these days (except iPhone of course...those ones have...60Hz). Dex? Who gives a shit about a feature that allows you to use your smartphone as a computer? It never works as well as a real computer.

Both 15 and 15 Plus are easy passes for me, especially when the 15 256GB costs the same as the Sony Xperia 5 iv 256GB over here in Malaysia, and I got much better hardware with the Sony. Even the 15 Pro doesn't bother me since it's identical to last year's 14 Pro.
Only the 15 Pro Max got my attention because of the new periscope camera. There's always this belief in the iPhone world, especially on Twitter (aka X), that Apple is always the last to join the party but also makes the best refinement. It's only a matter of time before we see a full review of the 15 Pro Max.

Pixel phones don't offer a lot of customisation options either (but probably still more than on IOS). For the rest I fully agree with you that in terms of main functionalities IOS does not lack behind Android. It's just different and that's it. Am I an Apple fan? Certainly not as I pledged to never buy an iPhone (or any other Apple goodies) again but that is simply because mainly they are too expensive and lack the freedom to do what you want with the content and share how you want with whom you want.

If I didn't have iPhone 13 Pro then maybe? I won't be replacing my iPhone for at least the next 3-4 years (It's my work phone so it's not like I actually need the latest specs anyway), so I'm not really tempted to buy any iPhone at the moment.

In the contries where there is no full Apple service or even no Apple service at all, it is useless to use iPhone as both iPhone and Android can do the same tasks, especially if using it only for social media, office app, etc. So, I think there are peoples who are disappointed with iPhone because they can do more than they hope.

What exactly are you trying to achieve replying to every comment thinking that they want you to switch? If you think I am assuming then go read back the comments. You even argued with someone who said they can use their money to buy some appliances and a cheaper phone instead of an iPhone. That's their opinion, expressing how they can utilize their own money but you decided it was something to start an argument with. That's all I have to say. Hope you have a wonderful day.

Such as what exactly?
See I was an Android user long before I tried an iPhone, and I have switched back and forth quite a few times, never have I noticed a massive drop in ability. Hell if when I first tried an iPhone I found it was unable to do more than 50% of the stuff I had been doing on Android, I would have switched back and never touched another iPhone again.
So I’m curious, what exactly is this long list of things a low end Android can do that an iPhone cannot?

Not actually, I dare you to lay your hands on any Samsung's present flagship ranging from the S23 line up to foldables, the body premium feel alone will tell if your statement is guilty or not
Then try that experience of "what's the difference of a 120Hz Screen compared to a 60Hz Screen manipulation " finish with that and testify
let's not dive in deep,a practical experience from the S23ultra can help.

I would if it would run Android... In this way it is worth nothing :(
The hardware and the design is nice though, I really wish such hardware like the 15 pro would be available with Android in the same size (I really hate the phablets of today)
