Xiaomi 13T series pricing leaks yet again, it's at least €300 lower than the Xiaomi 13 series

The 13T and 13T Pro won't be as high-end as the Xiaomi 13 and 13 Pro from December. The official unveiling is next week.

      using MediaTek and lowering the price is definitely a good strategy to follow. I can bet the 13T will sell like a hotcake.

        Price is very different, that's true...

        But :
        - camera sensors have nothing to do on K60 Ultra
        - you've got VTA
        - and commercial strategy is different. When Xiaomi will launch 13T, 13T Pro, you will get some free stuff! A TV, a SmartWatch, a pas...sometime near to 300€ of gifts. If it doesn't interrest you, you will have to wait until black Friday...

        Buying this at full price is a mistake...
        Nevertheless, even at full price, value for money isn't that bad

            Will wait for 14 series if no 8g2

But on the other hand Xiaomi has been charging a much higher mark up than other Chinese brands like Oneplus, Motorola, Nubia etc, on their European phones. The costs of doing business in Europe are the same for all the Chinese brands. They charge a fair mark up similar to others if the phone is branded as Poco or Redmi but once it gets Xiaomi branding the markup is automatically a lot higher. I think this strategy is a deliberate strategy to try to shake the previous branding of Xiaomi as a cost competitive brand and leave that to Redmi and Poco. That's fine as it's their strategy but there's no doubt their prices in Europe are right at the top end for Android phones in terms of their Xiaomi branded phones

                                    I don't really get the hate on xiaomi ( or maybe Chinese based companies) for everyone saying this phone is overpriced, comparing it to the likes of iphone 15 and Samsung s23fe or s23. With these phones u get cameras tuned by Leica mad Xiaomi, yep. the Same collaboration that makes the Xiaomi 13 challenge even the best phones out there s23fe and s23, iphone 15 will not come close to these in terms of camera performance. Obviously performance would be better too since s23fe uses a wayy inferior exonos chip.
                                    I get it that the world thinks Chinese brands should price their products way lower than American brands but sometimes consider how they make profits with all the expensive components they use on their phones, at least with apple u may get 1 or 2 more years of support and a half-bittten fruit logo on the back. But with Samsung everything falls behind these phones not to mention oneui tends to slow down Samsung phones in less than two years of usage while Xiaomi would not slowdown being as smooth as ever. Also consider the fast charging tech and IP68, i think these phones could be priced a bit lower but European prices are always higher than other markets due to their insanely high 20% task.
