The Pro Max has exclusivity on Apple's first periscope lens and that is really making a difference. The upgrade to 48MP for the vanilla phones barely tipped the scales.

        While some apps may run fine on normal android phones, some apps are unoptimised and sometimes causes the phone to lag. I've experienced it.

                  there will be higher chance that base and plus models gets the price drop.

                    i am missing iPhone MINI
                    it has perfect size, compact and powerful
                    i hope next generation SE comes like iphone MINI ...

She has an iPhone 12 Pro, and she's been complained many time that her phone lags so much even for some basic tasks like Instagram or Messenger. It still lags even though I've helped her reset her iPhone. It's been like that since iOS 15, and iOS 16 didn't fix her issue. Didn't know about her phone condition since I asked her to update to iOS 17, too bad Apple Store is not available in my country. She said she might switch to base iPhone 14 or even an Android soon.

Holding it bare and it feels way better than my S23 Ultra for some reason. It just has the kind of heft you don't quite expect from rather small phone, but not in a annoying heavy way.

And she is not tech person and puts that phone to very big stress. Many apps running in background, tens of tens of apps installed on her phone. She constantly uses that phone for just about anything.
                              And that phone runs very good for 2 years now. Sometimes I am surprised how that phone can still work in her hands. I am not 100% sure, but I think if she will have an Android phone (especially a more cheaper model, like the Xr is in Apple line-up), that phone will not perform in same way.

                                Apple TV+ I would rather use on my TV, than a phone.
                                But I hear you.
                                Some people just prefer iOS and iphones.
                                An older Iphone for €500 (could be still new) will still have at least 3-4 years of support left and will record better video quality than a €500 Android.

                                    Just as today, depending on individual preference, some would've preferred back then the Galaxy S2 instead of iphone 4s.

                                      Or maybe some people tried Android phones for years and just want some change.
                                      There could be multiple reasons.

                                      Also, you can easily buy second hand iPhones (2-4 years old models), with 6-12 months warranties and in very good conditions from specialized stores. At least in Czechia you can do this. Because so many people have iPhones here, the second hand market for iPhones is very big. And the prices are nice too.

                                        Is like going to a BMW showroom and say "Hey guys, you know what, I am going to buy a Mercedes". Who at BMW will care?
                                        That's just frustration talking.

                                        Is like texting your ex-girlfriend after 1 year (by the way who cheated on you), something like "You know what, I found a new girl and she is perfect". Lol. Do you really think she will care?

                                        Is the same type of frustration coming to an Apple post and say "I will go with an Android phone".
