The Pro Max has exclusivity on Apple's first periscope lens and that is really making a difference. The upgrade to 48MP for the vanilla phones barely tipped the scales.

                          They should drop the plus and bring back the mini with better battery and maybe ltpo display. There's a lot of people who love the small form factor while maintaining the flagship iPhone experience. People who want a large sized phone should go for the pro max anyways 💁🏻‍♂️

                              I've upgraded from Redmi Note 10 pro to Mi 11 Ultra in 2021. I paid 1200$ for brand new phone. I've compared it to 1200$ Iphone 12 Pro max and Xiaomi was better in all except battery life. But in overall, the only thing that I love is 5x telephoto with good sensors. Other things like screen, speakers, performance have no big difference comparing to mid tier redmi note series. This phones prices are ridicolus. Top tier PC (R7 7700x, rx7800 xt, 64gb RAM) costs the same as new Iphone 15 pro max.

                                    Literally useless poll. Or at least very inaccurate when it comes to the entirety of the smartphone market.

                                    If you check the search term "gsmarena" on google trends, it is quite apparent that the majority of GSMArena readers is from E-Asia and SE-Asia. Regions where Apple's market share is not that high. The number of readers from NA, W-Europe, Japan, etc., where Apple dominates (and I suppose gets most of its sales from) is negligible. Of course the result will be that the majority will "stick with Android".

                                    If you compare the result of these polls year after year to the fact that Apple leads by revenue (as per Counterpoint and Canalys), the difference if striking.

                                      I'm really eyeing on the 15 Pro. It's going to be another rare iPhone like the 11 Pro, where the size is compact enough while maintaining full-fledge triple camera system. With the 16 Pro rumored to get larger, 15 Pro is definitely the one to get for compact phone lover, considering it's very close to the 11 Pro size thanks to the slimmer bezels.

That's like a random Windows user complaining their laptop is slow and blame the laptop. There are so many variables one has to consider instead of simply saying the product is bad.

                                        For iPhones, especially those 2 years or older, the best way is to simply change the battery. It's well known that iOS throttles the SoC on iPhones with aging battery. Considering I have observed that even the XR is still smooth on iOS16, and the fact that iPhone 12 has one of the smallest battery in the recent lineup, seems to point out the aging battery as the culprit.
