Crappy camera layout (I mean, what use is a 8Mp ultrawide and 2Mp macro?), no SD card slot, no 3.5mm jack and still using USB2 speeds. What's the point?

19.5:9 aspect ratio and I would gladly buy this phone. Why must all phones by so tall and narrow. I understand that's good for view social media sites but it's not suited for work where a wider screen is much better.

Because of TKDN
Xiaomi, Vivo, etc were forced to buy made in Indonesia components.
If the components factory jack up the price, xiaomi, vivo, etc won't be able to build the "cheap" phone. Because xiaomi, vivo, etc can't import cheaper (but the same) components.
The higher the price, the bigger of profit for brand owner, the less problem in TKDN.
