The replacement cost of the screen is just 450rmb (about $61). Redmi announced this during their launch presentation when they compared the replacement cost with that from other brands. 2 years ago a screen like this would probably have cost nearly double. That's one of the reason for cheaper phones. The cost of OLED screens has dropped massively this year from Chinese suppliers as has the cost of memory. The quality of these screens from Chinese manufacturers has also improved over previous years though despite the drop in prices

❌GsmArena gives wrong info about 200mp main camera! 12 Pro+ had a Samsung ISOCELL HPX 200mp with no OIS. Redmi 13 Pro+ comes with a much better Samsung HP3 200mp a customized version for Xiaomi with OIS.

Same goes for many else. 16GB ram apple can only dream about.
Price around 500 no chance to buy apple this good this low.

Even i no matter how much i would loves apple would never ever pick Apple over a 125W or faster charging phone even with better than average specs like said phones Poco F5 pro, Ace 2 by Oneplus or Redmi 13 note pro plus.
Lastly when Apple starts using android or even better harmony OS gives said charging speeds plus charger into the box real camera of 50Mpix or above 108 or 200 mpix plus nice 50mpix or better front camera would be nice to have i would happily buy Apple phone.
With that horrible laggy buggy and customer tottaly unfriendly IOS is a no for me.

Great Chinese release by Redmi. The pricing is very good. This year, phones have been getting cheaper in China which is good to see. The Redmi note 13 pro+ and Redmi note 13 pro are both 400rmb cheaper than the Redmi note 12 pro+ and Redmi note 12 pro. I hope they can offer Eis for 4k video on this series rather than limiting the electronic stabilization to 1080p like on the Redmi note 12 pro+ and Redmi note 12 pro

Infinix is not even available in China and Realme is not that popular as they basically only sell online in China. I think they are fighting back more against the likes of Oneplus and Honor. During the presentation for the Note 13 pro + all the comparisons they made were against the Honor 90. The Redmi note 13 pro+ undercuts the Honor 90 by about 300rmb and hardware wise is mostly better

Buying these brands is consolation prize. Even the men that created xiaomi and huawei were once caught using iphone over own phones.

You buy an iphone because of marketing indoctrination and perceived social status. It is objectively not three times better or three times more functional or durable for three times the price. And the factory workers that produce it do not receive three times the salary of a xiaomi or a samsung factory worker(with the extra money you pay apple corporate and investors even fatter bonuses).
