This is both impressive and disappointing at the same time.
It is impressive in China to see such strong Iphone sales with so much competition.
Its also really disappointing again with so much competition to see even base Iphone models sell that much.

And even that banned was not 100% banned. I mean officials could still buy iPhones, they just couldn't use them for work related tasks or bring them to work any more. If I understood correctly.

Just 1% of them means 14,256,713 NEW people to purchase this phone. And trust me ... more than 20% of China population can AFFORD a mere iphone on monthly credit.
And not to mention, 1% of China population earns over 10 million $ per year.
Regardless of that. China monthly wage has increased tenfold. iPhone is a status symbol and even poor people will sell everything just to get it.
It was funny to me when I went to Africa,Indonesia and China and I saw a ton of iphones and Samsungs while I had a Motorola lol

The iPhone 14 series were just a marginal change from iPhone 13 from rollercoaster detection (crash detection) to action mode. Now we have a few more interesting changes.
