It's probably going to be only available in China following the past trend of how Chinese smart phone brands release software. Plus miui china always has more features than global, this will probably help them distinguish the china miui from global

"MIUI" sounds better than "MiOS" for me but they should lowercase the first I so it becomes "MiUI"...They really like to follow Apple despite them being better than them in alot of things like headphone jack removal and limiting to USB 2.0.

About Huawei, their Harmony OS has AOSP layer to make their OS able tu run Android apps. That's why on Harmony OS NEXT, they will ditch AOSP layer. Other manufacturer can't do that because they just only have UI instead of OS.

Xiaomi is simply rebranding its Android skin from MIUI to MIOS, there's nothing you need to get panicked over. Just calm your farm and move on lol.
