STOP CALLING IT OS!. Its still just Android OS with there own Apps and Integration. If you want to call it an 'Operating System', it has to be built from scratch not based from an existing one. Companies just now trolling people to make people pay for the phones more because of this so called 'OS' but its just really still Android OS made by Google lol.

Motorola stopped making official stock Android phone after Google released Android 10 that fixed 100 vulnerabilities .. coincidence? Think not .
Ig this is China's bigger plan to move away from American tech . I think MIOS is just a heavily customised harmony OS . When u think of Chinese companies, you need to understand that there's only one company . That is , china . Whatever china state demand they will agree to it .

It's just a rename. Also big chance they'll only do this for the Chinese market and not global. Similar to Vivo with Funtouch and Origin. No way they're gonna change both unless it's to be consistent on both end. Good luck with them I guess.

No thanks coz it's an android OS with Xiaomi's overlay UI. Unless Xiaomi write an entire OS from scratch with entirely new programming language then it may earn the name OS in my opinion.
