Anonymous, 18 Oct 2023Just accept the fact that MIUI is mediocre UI, dude. No nee... moreFair enough the stock app has ads, but all chinese apps are built with ads as splash screens.
Even if they are left on, its barely a popup but suggestions everywhere. In any case its more usable than iOS, I have trouble using such a clumsy system and samsung oneUI is better but less fluid.

Its basically my current barrier to iPhone, its just hard to use now for me. BoomerOS is intend "easy" as much as any mainstream smart phone.

I have been having a Xiaomi Mi Max 2, then a Xiaomi 10T Pro and then a Xiaomi 12 Pro. I thought I would stick to Xiaomi and was waiting for the 14 Pro, since going from one phone to another has always been a seamless operation. Now, with this move I will most probably switch to the Iphone; I am fed up with all this fragmentation in the non-Iphone universe.

Majority of people know that MIUI is the cheap knockoff of iOS with bonus Pop up ads.

That's the one with the SD4G1, and just scrolling through the home screen there were frequently hesitations before the icons appeared. As someone who appreciates a fast OS, it left a bad taste in my mouth for any lower end or even midrange phone running MIUI.

The Redmi 12 5G with 4 Gen 2 that you have is without problems, right? GSMArena has had a hands-on review and said the phone works reasonably well. it's the best phone at that price, other brands have worse SoCs.
