Less performance than a Snapdragon 870 released in 2021, in a phone that you are gonna sell in 2024 and its going to cost about 350€ 128 Gb and 400€ 256 Gb lol

4+4? It's not going to be Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 CPU performance. Heck, it'd be laughable to see lower CPU performance than Snapdragon 778G/778G+.

I desperately want Samsung to release something I might consider in case I would need to replace my A52s, but by all accounts they're just stagnating around that same raw performance levels for 2 and a half generations now if these numbers are correct.
I mean, I understand that it's all about the bottom line, but what's stopping them from sticking a 7 gen 2 into one of the A-series phones? Everyone and their nan would be recommending that one as a decent midrange option then and I imagine the sales would reflect that as well.

Hey I am looking to buy the a54 256/8 variant. I would like to ask if I should hold out until the a55 releases as the scores seem to be better then the a54 at the moment. I would not consider myself a heavy gamer or user, I would like to play fifa mobile and use tiktok, YouTube and other social media platforms with ease. What is my best option, wait for the a55 or buy the a54?
