I think the 24-bit 96kHz (or 192kHz) is over micro-power Wi-Fi, not Bluetooth.

Sammy just marketed the 8+... moreIn terms of what? Benchmark numbers? Don't give a damn about synthetic benchmarks as long as the device has great battery life and performs as smooth as silk. The S23 Ultra is even smoother than iOS so who cares about those crappy benchmark scores?

And TSMC need time to make the yield up to 90%
So the strategy from now will be tik-tok
Tik = upgrade the architecture
Tok = upgrade the manufacturing process

VERY concerned this article did NOT even mention Samsung as getting the 8 Gen 3; Unless since its not the coming few weeks is the only reason for leaving it out.
Samsung not having a spokes-person at today's presentation could mean a few BIG things!
1. There was no SnapDragon 8 Gen 3 for Xiomi - so Samsung can still be the Son-of-A-G in Winter/Spring 2024!
2. Anyone else still notice there was NO mention of computer partner(s) of said laptop being part of the presentation?! This means there is STILL a very tight-closed deal between Qualcomm and Microsoft: so the upcoming Surface Pro, SurfaceBook and Surface Studio - are gonna be a smackdown launch party.
3. This performance of their X Elite not only skpped Apple's M1 serious chips (M1, M1 Pro, and M1 Max, but beating their M2 chips). However, not the M2 Pro/Max and next week is an M3 announcement. Apple has been on a lil more than a year SoC refresh cycle, so its VERY possible Qualcomm can catch up to the full high end M3 and surpass them during the same M4 series launch next year, THAT would be HOT-FIRE!
Qualcomm has come a long way, since purchasing Aria which included 4 top executive engineers that were part of the original design and engineering of Apple Silicon before toxicity surrounded them and they left just prior to Jony Ive. And blind Apple fans thought it was a GOOD thing Cook forced Forstall, the innovator and of the two lead engineer creators of iPhone and iOS - and no C.Federighi was NOT part of the original team and it shows!

Qualcomms flagship chipsets are such a waste of tech and money. They make all this but no OEM actually spends time optimising their software to utilise the chip properly. Instead we get Xiaomi and iqoo etc etc chasing benchmarks and trying to be the first.

The only thing samsung messed up was the implementation and set up of the exynos chips of late. Especially when they were making large custom cores. As far as chip producing goes they are still one of the top dogs.

Not a single member of the public has had so much as a single second experience with it. Yet you seem to know all about how it is going to perform in ‘every meaningful way’ 🤔
Got some insider knowledge there do you, or are you just gorging yourself on the Kool-aid????
