iPhone SE gen 1, 7 years old
all functions and apps still run like new (can’t get latest versions on some apps, but runs the last compatible version)
only the battery (original) doesn’t hold a charge consistently anymore

my 5 years old mix 2s still rocking flawlessly even today. i have absolutely no reason why should i buy a new one. no issue whasoever, no security problem, no performance problem, no camera problem, no overheating problem, even the battery is no problem.

Currently using the best Oneplus phone ever made, the Oneplus 7T. And I would buy it again as my next phone even if they would just keep everything the same and just upgrade the camera.

Planning on keeping my A52s until Samsung or any other company releases a worthy successor (can't cost an arm and a leg either). Poco F5 was close, but only offers a max of 256gb internationally (even though the one in china has up to 1tb). Would still buy the 256gb model if it had a micro sd card as well, but it does not. Last Samsung flagship I ever considered was the Galaxy S10. However, the A52s is more efficient minus the extra GPU power.

2 years ago I had a Nokia 1020. I have had a Nokia 808 with minor breaks since 2012. In addition, I have been buying flagship smartphones for years for their photography functions. My last purchases were in 2020 Xiaomi mi 10 Ultra, 2021 Huawei p40 pro+, 2022 Huawei p50 Pro and recently Xiaomi 12s Ultra. However, I used the Panasonic Lumix DMC-CM1 phone for the longest time, which was very handy and had a brilliant camera :). Previously, I was, of course, a fan of the Sony Xperia series. And a long time ago I had, among others, Sony Ericsson p900/P990, Sony Satio etc. :) And who still remembers Siemens SX1????

Save money or if you have money, use it do buy something else.

I am using Honor 9x pro from 2019 March, which my friend brought for me from China. It cost $130, still it works same as first day.

Before Honor was join venture company with Huawei and now Honor is seperated and I am not sure how good Honor is now.

My Poco F3 is about 2.5 years old and im not sure i want to upgrade/update yet, still has decent battery life and performance is ok for me, i have the Poco F5 on sight just in case i do change phones, i just dont like migrating things and bank apps that require special activations.

I think a good phone can survive all those years, it wont be by the original owner imo.
