The Doogee Smini is about the size of an iPhone 13 mini, however, it has an IP69K rating, an info display on the back and a customizable button on the side.

        It was possible to get it unlocked, who did had no issues to use outside Japan.

        SD480, 4GB, 4500mAh, IP68, micro sd, jack, single cam, gonna get to android 14, gorilla victus on front, usb C. Smaller than old S6.

                Cute little compact phone and I want it. Unfortunately all of these mini devices require importing and that subjects it to heavy local taxes even they arrive in my country

                Otherwise, I'll gladly put down my brick size phone and buy something like this

                  For these specs i would pay 150 euro for this at max.
                  4.5 inch screen with 480p resolution and only 3000mAh battery when the phone is 13.5mm thick. 13 mini have something 2438mAh battery and is 7.7mm thick so it makes no sense to have this small battery in it. Also there is no hope that you get more then 1-2 years of updates on this phone

                  This phone needs at least 4000mAh and at least 5inch screen with at least 720p resolution to make sense to be 270 euro phone

                  Even tough i like small phones but i really hate wasted space with bezel

                    I‘m just happy they even made a phone that size. 480p display? Yeah I don’t care as long as the size is right, shouldn’t be much worse than 720p on a 6.5 inch screen anyway. I won’t specifically buy this one but I‘ll keep buying smaller phones and if manufacturers like this fill such niches it collects attention

                                      I prefer a smaller phone for outdoor usage than a phone larger than my shoe inside my pocket. Unfortunately, flip phones are expensive and has too much problems with crease, hinge and repairability, so I would go with this Doogee Smini because, in my book, it has all the basics for good usage.

                                        - The phone is absolutely hideous and doesn't look comfortable to hold at all, despite the "small" size. I was extremely disappointed when I realised the monstrosity on the right side of the image was the "Smini"
                                        - It's by a brand that leaves a lot to be desired when it comes to privacy, confidence and trust, let alone software and security updates. The brand's name alone sounds like a joke.
                                        - The "features" this phone offers are useless to most people.

                                        We're almost in 2024 and there's still literally no competition for the iPhone 12 mini / 13 mini. It's actually hilarious, because with these no longer in production, brands like Xiaomi or Samsung or even Google could easily take a huge chunk of the small phone market for themselves if they applied a similar formula instead of... whatever nonsense phones like the "Smini" are...
