8Gb of RAM coming on a $1600 laptop is ridiculous, especially since that RAM is being shared with GPU and CPU. At $1600, 16Gb should be the minimum.

I loved the touch bar.......i also much preferred the previous MBP.......the current MBP models are not sleek, they look cheap.

JohnSalamii, 31 Oct 2023thats because intel macbooks sucked.Perhaps Apple cannot fully optimize their OS on top of intel's hardware, or maybe the cpu itself was the issue, but that's not the point of my reply to the other commenter. The point here is that the battery life is waaay less than advertised.

I just went into an apple store yesterday, the first time in a while. Love the look and finish of these new Macbooks. I would absolutely wanna own one.

Russel, 31 Oct 2023My legion 5 pro with 3070ti ryzen 7 6800h 32GB 1TB cost jus... moreobviously such high-end gaming laptops with that combo is gonna be a powerhouse = battery drain, that nvidia gpu alone gonna eat battery if you use high graphic games or softwares while you can set the amd cpu to 65w or below or downclock/undervolt it. otherwise just keep it plugged if your gonna do intensive work/game & if travelling & unable to find an outlet then use the laptop scarcely like web browsing etc. & keep it to power save mode to extend battery.

I know it&#... moreNaah, my MBP 2019 with i5 the battery was advertised to last 10-13 hours but since the first time I took it out of the box until this day, it never pass even 3 hours of light usage such as editing my website plus playing music in the background. I use it for work where I need to open 20+ tabs in Opera plus Slack plus Sublime Editor and connect to an external monitor, it barely lasts 2 hours.
