Software wise and availability wise global, One Plus 12 is better. But don't compare camera of Vivo to One Plus 12. They are in two different leagues altogether. Snapdragon 8 gen 2 and 8 gen 3 are basically same for 70% of people, as per my initial testing of Xiaomi 14 Pro.

1st gen is always flawed .. remember when Samsung gave away imperfect 200mp sensors to Xiaomi n moto then kept the best quality ones for s23 ultra??

So basically Sony's own main camera but in other brands. Cool. The 1 inch type could be use in lower tier flagships to be honest. Considering the new processing in the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, the IMX 989 could benefit from it.
Although I did say that with the new Lytia sensor, getting similar image processing with a smaller sensor should reduce camera housing footprint by a substantial amount. Now they can slap other tech like variable aperture and maybe ND filters.

I'm seriously looking forward to OnePlus 12's camera system. With the Open/Find N3, OnePlus/Oppo set the standard regarding the level of image quality you can get out of this new two-layer stacked sensor design when it's paired with mature image processing. Natural details and extremely low noise even in very low-light scenes, impressive stuff.

There is no space for what you want.
Not even massive phones like Mate 20X or Rog 6 would be big enough.

Massive price.
Type 1.0 Exmor T may cost 3x more than imx989.
Only cam system of your dreams would be much more than $150.
Then we pair with screen that is now about $90-95 e SoC that is probably around $160-180.
BoM is already about $400. Then you add rest of the phone.
