Mobilemaster, 06 Nov 2023Huawei is the absolute leader at imaging? Who said that? The level of refinement of image quality and rendering has been world-class in Huawei phones way back since the days of the P20 5-6 years ago.
DxoMark #1 spot for best camera phone camera is taken by the Huawei P60 pro.

No, I obviously do not, but see now you are just taking this too far.
Thanks for the link tho, but while I do appreciate it, it feels more like a rumor than a fact, and so does the entire article as well, that we are commenting on.
Either way, none of this changes the fact that you are targeting me, no matter how many people disagree with you, fact or not, you always call me out, but nobody else, I'd appreciate putting an end to that.

Seeing how well the Mate 60 pro has been executed, switching over to own designs might not be for the worse in Huawei phones. Also the transition from Leica tuning over to its very own XMage framework proved to be for the benefit for the latest P60/Mate60 as Xiaomi's Leica-collaboration on color science made a somewhat mixed impression (in my book).
So far, Huawei seemed to do things as good or even better when doing them on their own.
Another case in point is the Kunlung glass 2, which seems to be even more protective than even Apples super ceramic thing.
So, I am more than curious to see Huawei's novel camera sensor.

If it was just lie from me, then I would not be able to even tell specs of this " in-hiuse sensor".
If I say " ice is water". You disagree.
All image sensor makers have semicon division. Where is huawei semicon?
It does not exist.

It would be interesting to see some periscope cameras with 0.56 micrometer pixels (that's currently the smallest pixel size as far as I know). Currently, there are only Tetra²pixel sensors with 0.56 micrometer pixels, but it should be just a matter of time when there will be Quad Bayer sensors with 0.56 micrometer pixels.
The higher the ratio of focal length and pixel size, the more pixels you get from a distant object. So, a small pixel size is important for periscope cameras, that's why several periscope cameras have a small pixel size of 0.7 micrometers. 0.56 micrometer pixels should theoretically let you zoom up to 25% more than 0.7 micrometer pixels, if the lens is good.

Mobilemaster, 06 Nov 2023Huawei is the absolute leader at imaging? Who said that? The overall camera performance of Huawei phones before the semiconductor ban has been excellent (except for a few glaring flaws in colour rendition in the P40 series).

It's pretty obvious that Huawei will be using a custom-designed Omnivision sensor. Why would they try to develop image sensors in-house when there's a Chinese supplier that supplies them at a low cost lol.

There were 3 people downvoting you, but you always gotta target me and cry about people disagreeing with you. Maybe try growing up first, and prove your "facts", before calling them facts.
