At least I like and talk about what I like, and I will avoid talking, let alone talking badly, about the ones I don't like or hate. At least I can prove to myself that I've been using eight Sony phones for the past 12 years with a 6-month hiatus by using the Xiaomi Redmi 2 Prime (I like it; however, I feel the Sony Xperia stand-out elements feel like home). Currently, I'm using the Xperia 1 II, so there's that.

I'm talking about "DUAL FRONT-FIRING" stereo speakers; both speaker slits are on the front. Only the Sony Xperia and Asus ROG Phone series did it this year. Xiaomi dropped that in Black Shark since BS4, and so has ZTE Nubia with RED Magic since RM8. Google dropped it since Pixel 4, and HTC since HTC 10. Which devices has this site has reviewed that mentioned front-firing stereo speakers outside ROG Phone 7 and Xperia Mark V?

Blud, have you ever realised in your life that you can hide the cutout? Better than having two bezels at each side.

I still use Xperia 1 mark 1 (the first one). Still working fine - no problem with battery, screen or camera. Very stable software and no major issues. Plan to upgrade to Xperia 1 V once prices drop a bit, but mainly for the upgraded secondary cameras and more storage. Primary W sensor is pretty good and UW is also good, but the zoom camera has too slow and unstable focus. 21:9 4K OLED screen is still amazing and looks very elegant with the slim ratio. Easy to operate with 1 hand.
