The latest 7-series Qualcomm chip slides in between the SD 7+ Gen 2 and SD 7s Gen 2.

    Qualcomm think that we will forget the 7+ gen 2 that thing is stubidly fast for its price but it only shiped with 3 devices so...

        Series 10 with 6.5" with good enough midrange chipset will be perfect for my needs.

          does anyone besides gamers really care about faster CPU and more powerful GPU? I'd bet my money more people would appreciate 20% more power saving in headline, though I have no doubts about this claim

            Mas Sakti, 18 Nov 2023All of the upgrades from SD 7G3 is compared to 7G1, that me... more7+G2 is just suboptimal yields of the 8+G1. I can hardly think of it as a midrange chipset. No midrange chipset will come close to that in the near future. I think Xiaomi just got a great deal on these to power their F5. And Qualcomm never intended to power much more phones with it, sadly. There's only one more besides the F5 and has limited availability.

              All of the upgrades from SD 7G3 is compared to 7G1, that means the 7G3 will be weaker both CPU and GPU than 7+G2, but slightly better power saving.

                  7+gen 3 power saving 20%? what the power saving? next gen chip, I think more increse power consumption battery, not power saving battery, and more increse heat. LoL

                        Meanwhile the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 got their scores leaked and are:
                        Single Core: 1139 (just on par with SD 870)
                        Multi core: 3375 (Even below Dimensity 8100)

                        So that means that SD 7 Gen 3 has no X core inside.
                        And GPU wise in the ballpark of SD 865

                        Dimensity 8100 beats it, and definately 8300 will destroy it.

                                      NOPE!!
                                      The ads were in some of the pre-installed apps, but you can select "Don't send me advertising", then the ads were gone. Or you can download the replacement apps that don't have advertising, like changing Xiaomi File manager to Google Files.

                                        Hopefully Sony Xperia 10 vi using this chipset.
