For example, Apple really dissed Intel Macbooks during their 2023 October event (acting like they weren't just using it 3 years ago). They also like to prove they can do stuff on their own, without no ones help. In house tech is fine but don't act like others are trashy and yours it's the best thing that ever happened

Accidentally some IP holders want to sell their patents and some company in the matter to lay off their top engineers or related scientists and coincidently Apple absorb them; The thing that Apple is professional to do so, somehow quietly.

I'm glad that Apple is facing issues because you can't just do everything yourself. Asking for help is fine but Apple seems to disagree. I'd spare the trouble of all this, call off the operation and pay Qualcomm the money.

And it will probably be delayed forever.
Making a cellular modem is not easy. Qualcomm has the experience since the 2G era. Unless Apple is willing to start poaching those Qualcomm engineers, it will take Apple a really long time to have something decent. There’s a reason Apple dropped their lawsuit and simply pay Qualcomm for the current modems. Apple knows they don’t have the chops.

But if an in-house modem happens, it will truly be 'game-changing', literally and non-literally.

I think Apple is waiting for Musk's satellite result and 6G development in order to bypass 5G altogether.

So if this is true, I guess the new iPhone SE won't be testing this new modem tech like previous rumours suggested.
