justasmile, 21 Nov 2023Exactly. Samsung's stuck in the past.Add Google there as well. Apple uses much smaller batteries and that's somehow normal for them not to provide faster charging opportunities.

Mills, 21 Nov 2023A55 vs A52s is gonna be a good one. GSMArena still milking ... moreThe fact that A52s is still better than nearly all of the newer midrange offerings by Samsung...

Oh, wow!!! almost 2 and a half hours loading wow let's move on

Samsung saves big money without providing a charger not even 10W. Just think about how nice the Chinese company is to give 67W for free.

rosesarerosie, 21 Nov 2023😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 Samsung knights can't keep defending thisYou probably meant any non-Chinese OEM's knights, not just Samsung. There is no "western" OEM brand using the split battery into two same size cells and using special non-standardised cables like we can see on so many Chinese OEM's even on their most basic phones. I think it's not matter of "can we do it" as I believe Samsung and others CAN make what Chinese OEM's did, but choose not to. Ultra fast chargings still don't have a solid proof about battery degradation over time, so "western" OEM's play safe. It's all about the different philosophy of OEM's.
If you care for fast daily top ups then simply don't consider to buy a "western" OEM. I know it's hard to believe for most people how can the most basic Chinese phone have 66W or even 80 or 120W of charging speeds, when "western" top dogs are stuck at 30 or 45W.

BlahBlah, 21 Nov 2023Only Chinese OEM's have what you want when we're ... moreExactly. Samsung's stuck in the past.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. It seems like the A55 is only going to make the 23 FE look like a really good value for money in comparison.

25W "fast" charging was already a joke last year, let alone next year and onwards.

justasmile, 21 Nov 2023The same 25W. Man, if they really cared about battery life... moreOnly Chinese OEM's have what you want when we're talking about charging speeds. They have split the battery in two and have special non-standard USB cables for their charging bricks.

45W is the "fastest" charging speed with non-splitted battery. In fact Samsung has it on their top dogs, but it's not much faster then their 25W charging speeds as the 45W is used only for a short burst. In another words, without splitting the battery into two cells, every "western" OEM will seem slow and stuck in time compared to what we have on other Chinese OEM which most of them have it on most basic phones.

The fact that even A05 supports 25W....

Even budget phones have 33W fast charger and Samsung cant get past 25W in there middle class that is like top side of the middle class as next be A74 as the most top end of middle class. It's like apple doing small updates with each year even tough there cpu gets improved a lot more then this A5x series gets. This A55 probably also be around 500 euro on release and people still hype it high

                        😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

A55 vs A52s is gonna be a good one. GSMArena still milking the A52s to draw attention toward the phones.

                            The same 25W.
Man, if they really cared about battery lifespan, at least offer 33w or 40w charging. They're really just stuck in the past.
