As expected from a chip with four performance cores.

777cobalt, 27 Nov 2023a geothermal power plant in your pocket! modern technology ... moreDon't worry. Buyers of this phone will only use it to capture HD or FHD vertical videos to upload to Tiktok. Phone companies know how to make their audience overpay for their products. 🤣🤣

rizki1, 27 Nov 2023SoCs are getting more and more powerful so this is very sui... moreAre you sure about that? Lots of consumers buy an iPhone 15 PM or S23U but use them like it only has an SD 695 chip. 😂

It's so powerful not even a cooling system can handle it

KKR, 27 Nov 2023You are right. Seems this SOC performed really well.Huh? In less than 3 minutes, the graph already looked yellow. That's where the throttling started.

I saw it comming to be honest
          9300 reminds me of Helio x10 Octa-core Cortex-A53 on redmi note 3
It was powerful but always hot and battery drained fast

Madmallu, 27 Nov 2023Its not in 2min GSMArena....15 min...time interval is 2min.... moreLmao. Throttling started past the 2-minute mark where you can see the yellow section.

Its not in 2min GSMArena....15 min...time interval is 2min..are you people blind or what..the SoC did better...even the Sd gen 3 has throttling issue in just 50%

justasmile, 27 Nov 2023Let's just see how the 8 gen 3 performs next.Doesn't throttle. But heats up.

It probably a bug..they will fix it hopefully

Fa14bi, 27 Nov 2023Looks like to 46% in 15 Minutes to me, not 2 Minutes. You are right. Seems this SOC performed really well.

So, flagships are getting worse, while midrange phones are getting better and better. Great.

Looks like to 46% in 15 Minutes to me, not 2 Minutes.

Would be interesting to see how it fairs up in GSMArena review.

Are you guys blind, including comments section? The graph clearly says it's been 15 minutes test, each box representing 2 minutes, (below graph, in red section) so it throttles below 80% after 3 minutes and 46% after 13 minutes. I'm not defending mediatek, but not even comments are pointing towards this huge error.

The x100 pro is near the top of all battery tests so far and the x100 is also doing well whereas the dimensity 9200 didn't do too well on battery drain tests

You select 60fps, you get 60fps no matter how long you use.
Unlike chinese phones that secretly turn 60fps into 43-45 after 5 minutes.

By the way, keeping framerate while using bitrares 2-3x higher, which demand more effort from hardware.

Pathetic phones record 4K@60 at only 50-60Mbps.

It will be interesting to see where future tests go with this chipset but It should not be surprising to anyone if thermals proves to be the weakness of the 9300.

Peak Performance is important only to those who love numbers that is why for the vast majority of users less expensive phones need to be more efficient with decent performance as opposed to less efficiency but more performance that many flagships want.

Even going back to the likes of the SD865 TO SD888 performance was easily great enough for most.
