Anonymous, 07 Dec 2023A Chinese phone for Chinese people. Now what can you offer ... moreAre you telling the same when it comes to other manufacturers? Oppo? Xiaomi? Oneplus? Vivo? Redmi?.. Boy they're a lot, it's really hard to ignore the innovation they bring.

Samsung lost that appetite for the last a few years. Samsung became like Apple no difference.

And you have Sony which I think they do great phones all in one but really expensive and have heating problems.

So what you got beside these two? Maybe Apple? Go buy Apple anti Chinese fanboy.

Anonymous, 07 Dec 2023Once again, curved display. Pass. Otherwise a good phoneHopefully starting with s24 ultra producers will go back to the normal display. Samsung is starting it.

I'm so fed up with with this curved display crazyness. It's not user friendly, hard to repair l, very prone to braking, makes the nature full of trash due to throwing the entries screen just because the glass breaks and none of the stup.d repair shops want to make a OCA glass installation. Absolutely ridiculous.

Luckily there are more regulations implemented and they will also have to implement replaceable batteries and repair friendly phones. Time to learn from LG. They did it and noone had interests while getting crazy about non user friendly curved, fixed batteries...

justasmile, 07 Dec 2023LMFAO, 8mp ultrawide for a flagship phone? I'd rather ... moreIt doesn't have to be 12mp. You people always pay attention to the top level information. I have Vivo x90 pro plus with 48mpix and it's just trash. Because the module is so d..n small, 1/2".

Even pixel combining and having a 12mp output doesn't help the light it can capture. Detail s...

The smartphone producers started to pay attention to the damn zoom camera. Started with the ridiculous moon zooming photo hype. What am I gonna do with that all zoom unless I'm in a concert, stadium etc which is not the most of the part of my life. Those reviewers are mentioning zoom all the time. I need a good light capturing, sharp ultra wide angle camera. Most of the time I struggle to step back a little and capture a nice building, structure, statue. When I'm in the nature I'd like to capture all wide details along with covering the top end of the trees. But no. Trash ultra small modules.

Mpix counts is ofc not the most important but if you combine it with a legend big module like sony's imx989, then more than happy with having 50.1mp. Because it gives me the ability to edit better everything down into the smallest detail with Photoshop.

Dear smartphone makers. Use a d... logic. You try to capture more things with uw. Yet you still make it smallest module. How illogical is this.

HyperionBurn, 07 Dec 2023just a marketing gimmick then?Yes, but 1600 nits are only reached by the latest generation iPhones, which is a real step forward on the Android side. The previous model from Realme was under 1000 nits. Small clarification, iPhones do not hold 1600 nits for long in direct sunlight and if they are too hot they drop below 500 nits!

If this is cheaper than the Oneplus 12/Oneplus 11 this is a certified banger for the most part. Wish there was Realme GT5 Pro+ with a better ultrawide for the price of the S23+ for instance. That would've made 2 of the hottest "budget" top end flagships. I've used a Samsung M31 and that had the same cam/sensor for the ultrawide and let me tell you, that is NOT something I EVER used, it was horrendous. I'm sorry Realme but I think it would've benefitted you more to get rid of the Ultrawide entirely and reduce the price of the phone and create a GT5 Pro+.

ALSO, WHY is this phone's UW cam FAR WORSE than the GT2 Pro's?!?! That phone came out nearly 2 years ago and wasn't even a top end flagship in the grand scheme of things. Kind of a shame this happened. The Iqoo 12 still seems like the best value phone of the year overall due to its surprisingly huge bump in camera prowess. BBK is fighting way too hard amongst themselves Lmao, meanwhile Samsung and Apple are licking their thumbs and still drowning in money.

The ultra-wide sensor completely unbalances the set of cameras. It's a real shame that in order not to slightly increase the price they put that ultra-wide camera garbage, wasting the opportunity to have a great device.
