Those "efficiency" cores being very inefficient at higher clock speeds and middle cluster "performance" cores becoming more efficient at a lower clock speed is exactly why Mediatek decided to abandon them. Qualcomm is also rumoured to be dropping the A5xxx cores altogether in SD 8g4 too, you can probably see the pattern here.

Are you going to give X100 a testament? This phone may has a fabulous 70mm lens, however, I don't know whether the 46mm which is cropped from the high resolution on main cam is as great as the Pro's. Looking forward to both of them!

On Geekerwan's review of this phone, it stomped over the 8 Gen 3 inside the Xiaomi 14 (or 14 Pro, can't recall) in everything except single core performance, which even then it wasn't far behind. Let's see if your testing methodology can be a match of those wise guys.

Mediatek did this just because benchmarks, did not think of daily use.
Light tasks can easily be done by only use A5xx cores.
You dont need A7xx or X4 to listen to music, send messages, read dumb things some ppl type here , scroll on FB/IG/X.
No surprise Zero marketshare on range above $800. Few devices with it only sell some when price drops below $650.

If it costs less, it is because is worse.
Crappynos/Tensynos are worse than Snapdragon, reason both are cheaper.
Isocell / OV are worse than exmor, reason both are cheaper.
Panels from Boe, TCL, China Star, Visionox, Tiamna are worse than Samsung/LG/Sharp. Reason they are cheaper.

No, the X100 Pro has f/2.5. The X100 has f/2.57 for the tele camera. I looked at the official specs.

I don't know what's going on. But the hole punch selfie camera cutouts seem to be at least 50% bigger in the last 12 months compared to 2020 to 2022.
And this is only a basic crappy selfie camera too.

All OEMs... moreNah that's too monopolistic.. but I will say sharp OLED are Fantastic I even go as to say they are superior to Samsung's
But Samsung has a mass production edge over them

The last article you guys posted about the 9300 throttling in 2 minutes was a big disservice
It was 14 minutes .. hopefully you guys review this chipset as objectively as possible without the sensationalism
People have fantasies of this chipset failing as if competition is a bad thing.. we consumers win if mediatek gets better and better .. why don't people understand this
Even if your a fan of snapdragon competition will make snapdragon chips even better
