As always, the Vivo X series looks very promising once again.
Maybe just a slight disappointment that they use the "old"-ish IMX 989 sensor and not the newest "Lytia" - branded iteration.
But still thrilled by the X100pro and can't wait to see the final review.
How long of software support is provided by Vivo, by the way?

        Well I share your sentiments and wait for an 'independent and impartial review'

        The "damage" may have already been done, on checking back newer posts in the the original gsmarena article the source was ONE still image taken from a YouTube video, NOT the actual video (I admit I also did not check the source story)

        This video has since been sourced, it is just commentary and still images. you don't actually see the test being run on the phone.

                Yes a very nice upgrade to be honest.
                Same goies for their cameras with a banana shape print on every photo.
                Also a nice upgrade.
                Litterary every brand can have its flaws but those are usualy just minor cosmetics.
                This is tottaly different level honestly. So calling a Samsung parts better than chinese is like saying Iranian reals are worth more than euros or black color is better for reflecting sun rays than white one.

                  In other words even in 2030 they will be able to fix your device.
                  And since is a good chinese company there will be good software and hardware.
                  No green lines in display like Samsung, no banana shape camera with green scent, no charging stopped because device overheats like apple, no easy to breaks back panel like 15 pro and pro max got etc.
                  If people learned something from chinese is the fact they doing its job a lot better than top richest company who is interested only in money and how to earn them but forgot to give quality over quantity.

                    In fact the phone I liked an trusted the most in the past was a chinese Huawei P20 Pro.

                    Sure, its a risk with these parts. But in 3 years I will probably have a new phone anyways.

                        X90 pro looked much better.

                            It would be insane for any manufacturer to price a flagship phone with top-of-a-line specs like this to price it lower than a vanilla iPhone lol, you can't be seriously saying that or I would feel very concerned about you.

                              We're waiting patiently for the review, especially the Soc and thermal handling

                                nice camera setup as always. it can have a competition chance if it is priced 15% less than iphone15(vanilla). phone is developed and manufactured in China which makes it almost half as cheap to produce compared to apple and samsung. people definitely chose Chinese brands over the mainstream ones just because they are cheaper.
