You are wrong on so many levels in your disjointed loosely connected post.
If you can Google, Google these points
There is NOT going to be a 8G4, if Qualcomm fabs on a 3nm process the name will change IT ALWAYS HAS.

Only if say Qualcomm produces another 4nm will "G4" be included in a name and like the 7S e.g probably be 8SG4

Nuvia ALA Architecture Licencing Agreement has been cancelled by Arm, it cannot be transferred to Qualcomm despite Qualcomm having a much wider licensing Agreement.
Nuvia ALA Architecture Licencing Agreement is also specific on what Arm architecture it is allowed to modify!

In brief Arm contacts Qualcomm these were "subsequently ignored" after 1st agreeing with Arm re Nuvia.
Qualcomm informed Arm their ALA Architecture Licencing Agreement was broader than Nuvia and therefore covered by its own however Nuvia ALA DOESN'T allow it to do what you think it will be allowed to do it WON'T.

Pending the Court Case / Agreement there is ZERO Nuvia inclusion in any /all aspects of any / all Qualcomm SoC
ATM both Mediatek and Qualcomm are using the same process.

My last phone with a SD632 lagged a lot more. If the situation made the 695 lag, the 632 would freeze or stall. It would occasionally struggle to just navigate the OS.

And my phone before that with an SD425 was awful. Literally anything outside of a few light apps would make it lag. The messages app took 15 seconds to open. A web search would take over a minute. The keyboard would sometimes take ages to open because the phone is busy selling my data or something, idk.

Gsmarena please add temperature results in reviews.( at least in review of flagship devices)

I'm glad MediaTek is out there, competition is good,I remember years back MediaTek was trying to get here, realising deca-core and all that, but now they've made some progress.I wish Unisoc also gets here.

Mediatek haters going to put out more excuses for why it is bad. 😂

Bottom line Snapdragon 8 gen 2 devices look much better, throttling score of 9000 many phones can manage that, Xiaomi 13 pro had sustained performance of 9986 which is better than both Vivo and Iqoo in this test.

Good work for Mediatek. Too bad, not many OEMs will use high end Mediatek SoCs. Samsung uses either Qualcomm or Exynos, while Google has their own Tensor. That leaves the Chinese, but then they don’t usually ship their flagships to many markets outside China. In the end, most people will only recognize Mediatek as the cheap phone chip.

Dear GSMArena, it's best to look at at actual score and not percentage, you have been played there.

                    What Chinese OEM do
-if benchmark is quick they allow more power to score as much score as possible
-if benchmark is sustained they hard throttle at start so that difference between highest score and lowest score will be minimal like Vivo did here.

If you look at 3dmark test Vivo starting score was around 16000 and Iqoo one was around 18000 and throttled score was 9200 for vivo and 9700 for Iqoo so that higher percentage was made up too look better but in reality it's not and could be 50% or less.

All other benchmarks Vivo was better except that one which you use to test sustained score why? Maybe try using different benchmark like wildlife extreme instead of normal wildlife to get better idea?

Usual flagship has faster Storage, faster ram, better GPU, Cpu etc all those contribute in performance not just Cpu.

Mediatrash will be back to suking after qualcomm includes nuvia cores on 8g4. So much for quad X4 core and only negligible improvement over 8g3.

Ssg, 17 Dec 2023Then back to this! If Mediatek Soc is as good as this, why... moreI think Samsung has agreements with Snapdragon and also they going to use there own chip in the S24 & S24 plus for Europe and I know in the UK we already feel that the Samsung chip is so much slower than the snapdragon so imagine having a even faster mediatek chip in the phones outside Europe. We would be even more fed up in Europe.

                            Again, no thermometer used.

                            Look at ROG 7 Pro.
                            It has two modes.
First gonna reduce activity to decrease heat ( normal behaviour).
Second gonna push no matter heat.

It can bust be second here. Which I bet it is.
