This is either the source "cover version" of that three day old story, this article literally states the A55 won't get an upgrade at all.
The reason why. These mocked up stories are created in isolation, not considered that the A55 is part of a range.

Xiaomi and especially Realme will be much more interesting. The Realme 12 Pro + will bring high-end zoom quality for the price of a small mid-range

Exynos 1480 is only equal to Dimensity 8000. Still much weaker than Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 and Dimensity 8200

My only wish is for Samsung to ditch their current ODM and actually design a better phone. Stop with the current lazy design of bulkier body and thicker bezel.
