The fold 5 is a perfect phone. The Fold 4 was not. So not sure why it's a fail.

To be honest I don't see S23 FE as a winner when the A54 is already that good and much cheaper. Of course the S23 FE have better specs but is it worth that much money? Especially since you're already looking for a more affordable phone than the regular flagship S23's.

I look for Samsung first but I feel that I am not the target market for Samsung anymore. Because they are slowly removing the features that I liked for example: Longer Battery Life in Watch 5 pro, support for micro SD in S23 and I don't like the camera lens layout anymore S20 and iPhone looks better.

I use a Flip 5 daily but also own an S23. In the US, as far as compact Android phones go, there is none better so calling it a "failure" is flat out wrong. It has great specs, a compact form, and solid battery life.

A54 is a scam.. a poor processor at a premium price. No doubt it sells a lot. But that's because of samwung marketing. This is a top tier phone. But it has the worst processor as well as charging speed at this price. Every other phone in this price has a better processor. That's not justice

Most popular samsung phone in october in USA was A14.
They want cheap android phones, to have more money to spend on unnecessary oversized vehicles like F150

Samsung actually did real innovation in creating value for consumers at lower prices. The presence of OIS even on their lower-end phones (leading to "inexplicably" better picture quality compared to the Chinese low-end cr*p) drove their sales up.

Most competition here in the US is Apple v Samsung, with a small (but growing) Pixel base and maybe OnePlus and Motorola? That's really about it for the US these days.

Personally, I'd say S23 and S23+ are winners while S23 FE is a loser. Last year's inefficient chipsets and you could easily find the S23 and S23+ on sale in the last couple months.
