Did they really just say the s23fe is a winner? That and the a54?
The s23fe is a pointless device that prices the same as an s23 (yet its specc'd like an s22, a very average device), it sucks and is overpriced its that simple and its categorically hated on this site by your main readers/supporters (people commenting are ususlly always the same people and put the most energy in to this site).
The a54 is the best seller because samsung, other than apple, is the most well known brand. Most people (talking 90%+) buy off brand reputation. How it goes is "i need a new phone and want to spend x amount, oh the advert says the a54 and i can get it on contract, thats the phone im getting". Its not the best mid ranger, its over priced for what you get and its boring, why are we all happy with really boring designed phones now its madness.
Also why is samsung and apple... AGAIN... getting 1st articles with this stuff, always them who get the limelight. GSM, new year needs to be a new start for you guys and you need to be way more inclusive and forwarding other companies more now.

S23 was a winner for all the countries that usually get Exynos version.

They'll lose in 2024, because S24U looks boring after S23U.
Will it have 1-inch main sensor? No. Bigger 10x sensor? No. Display with better pwm? I think no. Maybe bigger battery, like 5400? No?
1x 1/1.3" => 1/1.4"? No way.
I have S23U and I will wait something interesting. Or I'll buy a camera.

I won't put the S23 and S23+ in the Loser category because of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. It's a much-needed replacement for the overheating Snapdragon 8 Gen 1.
Agree with the Z Fold5 as the only improvement done is the inner screen that can fold flat, and that's it. Even the inner screen crease is still no different than previous Z Folds.

Coul... moreYeah Samsung's ultra budget phones are extremely important for people in the west as a lot of the super cheap chinese phones dont exist there and these offerings really help the relatively poor people in the west get the utility of a smartphone at a non-eyesoring price.

I personally think that if it works then there is no reason to needlessly change it and introduce people to a new form factor.
But then I also believe that the smartphone industry has matured enough that annual releases are basically useless now, not much happens in between. They should make it once every two years at this point.

S23 FE has competition from Thinkphone which has excellent battery life and decent camera. Also Pixel 7A/7 are available at 399. So options are available there.
At S23+ prices, it's not much of competition. Nothing Phone 2, but not so good camera. One Plus 11 overall better phone at 549-599. Pixel 8 great for still shots and software, but I will choose S23+ over all these for overall package.

i totally dissagree. it is opposite.. the real winner is the s23 & s23+ and the loser is the s23 fe for having exynous chipset, gorilla glass 5 instead of victus and the bezels are too thick😫 so how come its a winner?

This is a rather weird article.
I would swap the place of the S23/+ with the S23 FE, as the FE was rather disappointing, with poor battery life, big and chunky design and overall just not worthy at MSRP.
The S23/+ is a notable upgrade from the S22 as the battery life improved a whole lot and now with Snapdragon in all markets. That is a pretty big win for me to be fair.

So the S23 that is cheaper and better than S23 FE is a loser, because S23 has finally a snapdragon in EU and S23 FE the Exynos we all "love" so much.
And A54 is also a winner and we totally ignore it goes for like 200 euro less than launch price, becauae nobody wanted it and at launch A34 (samsung wise) made more sense.

S23 isn't a loser. In fact it's the only option for those looking for a small phone
And lastly the A54 isn't a winner either

This article is all on the wrong haha A54 and S23FE winners? no, they are losers. A54 has poor performance (inferior to A34) for what it costs and that is enough to classify it as a loser. S23FE came to late and too pricey, also a loser, not to mention the stovexynos. On the contrary the vanilla S23 is a winner, very good price, solid tech, solid and compact flagship that even has a proper telephoto.
