My top 5 phones of 2023:
5. ZTE Red Magic 9 Pro. Outstanding value and spec monster.
4. Poco F5. Another phone with an outstanding value.
3. OnePlus Open. Raised the bar for foldables. Great cameras and an attention to detail in the software. Look out Samsung.
2. Galaxy S23 Ultra. Excellent all around flagship.
1. Sony Xperia 5 V. Incredible battery life, headphone jack, MicroSD card slot, which is extremely rare to come by in 2023.

Oneplus 12 a very easy winner.
Nubia red Magic 9 pro
Motorola Edge 40 pro
Xiaomi 13 Ultra
Motorola Edge 40 Neo as a best midranger with price around 400 eur.
Honorable mention Xiaomi 13C 8+256GB for 120 euros (80 eur at our stores for our staff)

my "all time" top 5 phones as of 2023 that i actually own...
5. lg v50s dual screen
+ still capable and a better alternative to foldables (along with other dual screens)... it can act like a "normal phone" without the accessory and it can work like the microsoft duo with the accessory... the display is not as risky to be broken as those inner displays of foldables...
4. lg wing
+ the first (and only) output of lg's explorer project... it is the most unique android smartphone i have, at least when it comes to form factor and the features that come with it.
3. nokia n8
+ this is the second best nokia camera smartphone, according to core nokia fans. i still like how good the image quality is and freezing moment with its xenon flash is great.
2. nokia lumia 1020
+ mainly because of its camera. sure, there are already a lot of improvements on oversampling - but i now consider this as a "keeper" of engineering marvel for camera hardware. despite the app store being dead and web browsers can no longer open some secured websites, i am still able to use it for many things aside from camera.
1. sony xperia 1 ii
+ it is my "comfort zone" when it comes to smartphone - ui is as straightforward as it gets... still great audio for its loudspeakers, via wireless and wired connectivity. i no longer have the "major" update, but i still get google play system update as some sort of "security". still enjoying media consumption with its "movie" friendly aspect ratio and image quality. camera quality is good for manual settings and day time "balanced" scene as its hdr is not aggressive.

I love one plus 10 ,11,12 I have all them. People they tell me I'm Krazy about my Cellphones one plus. Let me tell u ONE PLUS is A Zuper BOMB. is A Great. Phones Fast. And clean. I recommend this cellphone. OK

I love the love the Vivo x100 pro is getting
Especially Vivo not releasing the pro + so it actually gets a chance to be properly reviewed and stand kn it's own
Ironically the regular X100 still suffers for coverage

not see Huawei phones !!Everyone wants Kirin/Harmony combo, but it is exclusive to China as of now. The same is true for most of the IOT products released with HiLink - chineese exclusives, including cars.
Satellite calls/sms are also unavailable outside of China. Kirin-powered laptops with linux also chineese exclusives.
So why would anyone rate it as the best anything if one cannot use half of the features?
