I was simply saying you dont even know what Zenfone model was released this year, yet you like it...plus you went on and said like all the Chinese smartphone makers spy through their phones, this coming like a way to just make the iphones look better, like they don't spy too. So I'm not questioning your choices, I'm questioning the way you addressed the Chinese manufacturers, which have brought more to the table and more innovative stuff than Apple for the last 2-3 years. As for spying, they're all spying, without an exception and you not knowing that is surprising

                Hey, an actually well rounded choice of devices that actually makes sense.

                Nothing phone is something a bit different if thats your thing, goid performance for a very competitive price.

                S23u i mean its not the best in anything it does BUT is a very good quality device in all aspects (boring but safe, atleast its not as pathetic as the s23 and s23+). Isnt a top 5 device but makes sense "it being a favourite".

                Rest sort of align with why theyre a "favourite" generally they all have atleast 1 or 2 unique things done incredibly well. Only one that doesnt is oneplus, x6 pro looks better (that is subjective), had better cams all round, better screen, probably better battery (the oneplus 12 would essentially sit between the x6 and x6 pro but im guessing the reviewer hasnt used both, only the oneplus).

                  OnePlus 12 is not IP68 I believe... You made a mistake. That makes your whole review void. Sorry.

                    At this time of writing, the X100 Pro and OP12 are still not officially available in Malaysia. I'd love to get my hands on them because they bring much-needed improvement over their predecessors.

                    I like the Find N3, and it's officially available here in Malaysia. But it's about $200 more than the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold5 with matching 512GB internal storage. Also, Oppo doesn't develop their custom Desktop Mode to rival DeX, unlike Honor, which did put Magic Desktop Mode on the Magic Vs/V2.

                      It's garbage but only because I'm a fan of stock android, pixe 8 pro, pro was a disappointing phone!

My biggest problem with my Google Pixel 7 Pro is the inefficient modem and the inefficient and hot chipset. It's something I get by with because the rest of the phone is fantastic, but Google really needs to step up their game with the Tensor chips.

                              My top 5 phones of 2023 in no specific order:

                              - Galaxy A05s (f*ck OLED, typical Samsung longer software support)
                              - Galaxy A54 (Glass back on mid range, otherwise lacks proximity sensor and not something I would buy because of size and weight etc.)
                              - Pixel 8 (still too big but at least comfortable rounded design)
                              - Zenfone 9 or 10 or whatever is the latest (size ofc even if still maybe a bit too big and heavy, also not sure about Zenfone reliability etc.)
                              - iPhone 15 (just because it is the lightest weight and not so expensive but still too expensive). iPhone 15 Pro is slightly smaller because of smaller bezels, but heavier and will be superseded by the 6.3 inch iPhone 16 Pro so I don’t care about their Pro line. 5.8 inch was still fine but pushing it, iPhone 12 Pro and later are over the edge in their combination of size AND weight.
                              If I was allowed to choose from older phones it would be (from best to worst in top 5)
                              - iPhone SE 2022
                              - iPhone SE 2020
                              - iPhone XS
                              - iPhone 11 Pro
                              - iPhone 13 mini
                              Other terrible things in modern phones apart from OLED:
                              - flat sides
                              - too big size
                              - heavy weight
                              - plastic build all around but mimicking metal and glass sandwich
                              - Chinese phones, I don’t want to be spied on and have my s*cial cr*dit score being set before Ch*na gets world d*mination

                              Of course some phones have some tradeoffs but they are like the lesser evil compared to many other phones. The SE 2022 is the most perfect phone right now but sadly won’t get a successor in the same design with updated internals, or maybe an edge-to-edge LCD (though not necessary and may reduce one handed operation but I’m not sure) or an ultrawide camera.

                                  I have been using Nothing Phone (1) for quite a long now and could confirm one won't find magic in the spec sheet. But use it for a while and you will know where it lies.
