notafanboy, 28 Dec 202345W "fast" charging 🤣🤣45 W is not bad

These will likely be very good phones but the standard and + models especially seem to offer very little in terms of upgrades from the previous generation. I think they could have offered more with the camera hardware on those two models.

      Long Live Xiaomi 😍

Weird way to phrase cheaper. I would say more expensive. S23 was like 849 on release and now 899 so how come it's cheaper in Europe now when it cost 50 euro more ?

And they still come with 128GB storage that is total joke. On flagships 256GB should be the minimum

Depending on how it's priced, the S24+ might actually be worth it this generation, instead of just being crippled to sell people on the Ultra.

ua82, 28 Dec 2023some situations phone already being low ,I get in need to l... moreUnless there is some proprietary charging method requiring a special charger for maximum speeds, there's no need to include a charger with every phone. That's why USB-C is so important as a universal standard. Most people do not need chargers because they already have them from their previous devices and all their other devices.

Not including a charger with every phone literally lowers the manufacturer's costs and thus keeps their profit margin at a specific level. Including them would raise their costs and they would be increasing the cost of the phone. It's better to have the consumer pay extra for a charger if needed, rather than include one by default with a higher price.

There is absolutely no excuse now. So many manufacturers have implemented fast charging (60W+) that doesn't heat up the phone and battery. If Google, Apple and Samsung cannot do this then they are deliberately keeping charging tech behind.

People complaining that 45w isn’t enough anymore are hilarious. I’m guessing they need to choose a device with a better battery life, or perhaps set their phone down once in a while.

I swear users look for reasons to be unhappy.

Either way...after 3 months the Ultra will cost €1199, the Plus will cost €999 and the vanilla will cost €799.
