Is this $600 nominal? Because of course the market share of >$600 phones is going to grow when $600 now was worth $500 in 2017.

It only punishes the iPhone user for being unable to indoctrinate all of their friends into the Cult of Macintosh. So while it's technically correct to say that Apple never bullied anyone (other than the one time Tim Cook told the reporter to buy his mom an iPhone) Apple is still responsible for the bullying.

Anonymous, 03 Jan 2024Never mock Apple. more mocking = more stronger Apple becomeToo much mock actually, try search on Instagram. You gonna be surprised how toxic immature those tech accounts is about Samsung VS iPhone just to catch attention.

Despite what people here are saying, iPhone is highly desirable.

justasmile, 03 Jan 2024Oh yeah, you're not referring to S23 too because you&#... moreI'm not scared of losing the argument or any argument, just wanna know what your point is, there's the S23 as well but Samsung's processing is so overdone but a bit more than Apple's so it's just a personal preference thing over there, the display is much brighter for the Apple and has Dolby Vision support which you can use when recording videos in HDR or watching DV content which is technically and demonstrably superior to regular HDR 10 as shown multiple times by people like HDTVTest. Performance doesn't matter much both are great, unless one or the other has horrendous thermal throttling which the Apple does for the GPU yeah but for day to day use the CPU is more important and they're both neck and neck there in throttling but since the Apple has higher CPU headroom, it can throttle more and maintain similar performance to the Samsung. So what, except for the HRR and the telephoto, is demonstrably far superior for an S23 user? I mean don't bring Android vs iOS into this, the buyer is going to be making that choice for themselves.

jiyen235, 03 Jan 2024what's bad with that? The main camera sensor is identi... moreOh yeah, you're not referring to S23 too because you're too scared of losing the argument.

Anonymous, 02 Jan 2024They've bullied people into buying more expensive crap... moreApple has never bullied people into getting an iPhone. At the end of the day, it's the consumer's choice.

Anonymous, 02 Jan 2024Well iPhone is limited joke compared with android flagships. The 'limited' would be enough for many people. Not me though

Android side has at least 3 years of software updates and 4 years of security updates, most common among flagships are 4 years of software updates and 5 years of security updates. Heck, even Google offers 7 years of software updates! Do your research before talking bs.

justasmile, 02 Jan 2024Too bad, teens have fell for peer pressure and bought an iP... morewhat's bad with that? The main camera sensor is identical, the power is similar, if not better in the Nothing Phone 2's case, the display is far brighter, the battery is better and the video recording is obviously going to be superior. If the price were the same, the iPhone 15 is a vast upgrade to those phones except for the HRR display. Honestly, software animations are so good nowadays you don't NEED a HRR display unless you see them. I use an S22U and an iPhone X still seems fine to me. As long as the buyer is okay with a 60 hz display, the phone is a huge win over those other phones, assuming the price is same.

Anonymous, 03 Jan 2024What are the reason ?Optimisation of iOS, video recording quality, the long-lasting value of the phone, long update support. A lot more I can think of, but these are the common ones.

The base iPhone 15 model starts at $799 so the entire iPhone range is in the premium segment. But most people who buy iPhones don't know that as they're buying them on carrier plans with monthly payments spread out over 2-3 years.
