Samsung have more struggles than Apple yet they are doing it... Isn't surprising?
Talk of low class and midranges they are doing so well in midst of milked and bulky Chinese product!

Muthu, 02 Jan 2024Every person in India wants an iPhone? - This is the funnie... moreLOL. Other Indians seem to think differently:
'Apple (AAPL.O) is expected to gain a larger share of India's smartphone sales, with the high-end iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max models accounting for more of its shipments.
The company is projected to account for 7% of all smartphone sales in the country from July to December, up from 5% in the first half of 2023, according to data from market researcher Counterpoint shared exclusively with Reuters'.

This is based on premium phones and it's were Apple is based in the competition so far... So? what did u expect...
Listen, Apple is Global and Mono (De only iOS product on planet earth), in adds a popular status symbol, I mean it's hard to say someone is a celeb without an iPhone these days (funny but true) 🤷... Dethroning would be tough!
Samsung is the one holding up stronger based on certain facts like:,
Numerous similar OS (androids)
Alot of bashes for mediocre performance at low end and high ends yet they are performing Magic
(... I ain't done though pls wait)

There were a lot of ads during the S3 and the S4 days. Meanwhile, LG was nowhere to be found, and the same could be said for HTC & Sony in terms of ads.

Am not surprised that Apple is leading in premium smartphone sales as they are a brand known for "PRESTIGE & HIGH CLASS ". Apple users get branging rights but their reasons for ditching Android are slowly fading away for instance in terms of camera, ecosystem, charging speed & inovation, brands like Google,Samsung, Xiaomi & oneplus are dominating & catching up in some areas respectively. It's only a matter of time before they realize this & make the switch till then Apple must leave its comfortable zone & lead once more like they did with the very first iPhone

I have some gamer friends and guess what, they play with iPhones, the majority of successful YouTubers and content creators in India guess what? with an iphone!! everyone wants an iphone!!! If not, Apple would not pay the 3 billion dollars it costs as a company.

The only reason premium phones increase in marketshare is because people keep their phones for longer and uprade after more years than usual, the only logical conclusion for consumers is to buy a more expensive phone than the last

Perfectly illustrate brand equity of each smartphone maker.
Also perfectly illustrate what I've been saying, nobody wants to buy a $1000 Xiaomi or BBK. When people have the money, they'll buy Apple or Samsung, while the Chinese buy Apple or Huawei.

NickValok, 02 Jan 2024Apple always dominates the premium market because everythin... moreYes.
S4 was midrange phone. Lame SD600 while other had SD800.
Yellowish oled.
Cheapest plastic possible, while HTC used metal and Sony with glass.
LG G2 had OIS and laser AF.
Still S4 sold 80.000.000 units (s4 mini not included).
G2 + Z1 combined , probably not even 1/4 of this.
When they all had similar prices.

Haha. I bet when we count all phones from all brands sold with a pricetag of 600 eur and over Apple whont be top on the list.
Maybe Xiaomi or Honor but not Apple.
Even Samsung should have more sales.
By the way this is not accurate.
Make all phones from all brands available for sale in all existing 206 countries and honestly Appel wont be even top 20 same can go with Samsung. Where for a much smaller price most chinese brands sells a lot better device with a 50-100 eur worth of accesories in box compared to Apple, Samsug or even Gogle pixels.
Like this its completely unfair.

Apple always dominates the premium market because everything they sell is categorized as premium, and in the US, the world's leading premium smartphone market, everyone uses an iPhone.
Samsung is still doing well, they're not quite as successful as Apple, but they're more successful than all the other Android manufacturers combined, and they're selling decent phones at a range of price points, so they're very happy with consumer choice.
And the other OEMs, a lot of webzines and YouTubers are busy praising premium phones like Xiaomi or Vivo or Oppo from China, but nobody buys their products, even in China.

To be honest it makes no sense to even have Apple in any of these categories competing with other brands.
Apple is it's own thing with IOS and 0 competition brands who make phones with IOS.
Other premium brands with premium devices can compete with each other cause they all share the Google Android OS
