SShock, 17 Jan 2024There is no such thing as battery "overcharging".... moreThis doesn't have any effect, especially the old technology from Samsung. Apple also has a battery optimization feature but battery health also decreases with their slow charging.

Unless Samsung is going to give at least 5-7 years of warrnty to prove they are better than Apple having 7 years of updates is not that great.
No matter the hardware or software phones have decent chance to be bricked within first 2-3 years and a lot bigger in like 4-5 years.
Having a phone perfectly working without any issues at all for 7 or more years is pure luck equal to win a lottery.
The S23 and S24 line up is basicaly same apart maybe 20 worth of titanium and a new exynos which makes whole series interesting as a video where Will Smith slapped Chris Rock in other words not so much.
But just like with Apple even bug fixes are for devoted apple users like Xmas presents from their mother / father god desired company.
Just my 1 real pf iranian currency.

What to expect? An "inspired" design from Apple, a lag OS, defect screen with green lines and overpriced bricks without a charger

you have to suffer, 09 Jan 2024Li-ions doesn't like to be overcharged to 100% of all ... moreThere is no such thing as battery "overcharging". Batteries only charge to 100% at which point they stop being charged. If you overcharged them, they'd go up in flames. Batteries degrade because of heat during charging and the fact it was charged to 100%. Samsung has a hard charge limiter for battery life extending that locks charging to 85% and you can dramatically extend battery life this way while not really affecting operational time much. I'm using my S23 Ultra with this 85% limiter and still get almost 2 days of use from it. When battery will be so degraded with years, I'll just turn it off and use remaining 15% which should effectively make my battery last around the same as when it was new limited to 85%. I don't expect to even replace battery in S23 Ultra's entire life (5 years or so).

DarlingYext, 06 Jan 2024Yes, I have, but I'm doing the same with my fast charg... moreLi-ions doesn't like to be overcharged to 100% of all time, hence the degradation. it happens to my vivo v9 as well. i should avoid overcharging though, or else i have to spend more on another battery change. this proves that Li-Pos are superior. samsung still uses Li-ion even on flagships are pathetic. they are stuck in 2017🤭🤭🤭

"I will reply to your post as you responded albeit wrong (my point of view) .."
This (along with upvoting yourself) says pretty much enough about you, anyone who agrees with me is also wrong according to you, and only you. Don't you feel hypocritical?
Oh and just an important note, if by your logic my comments have nothing to do with this article, well neither do your comments. Your only purpose of being here is to target me for no reason, and it always has been. It's disgusting, stop it.

Dismissing the... moreI will reply to your post as you responded albeit wrong (my point of view) & here's why.
Minor issues first on Darling Yext
This is what you should also be calling out after my comments Darling Yext posted:
"It's for people that aren't willing to charge their phones overnight, because that destroys the battery of the phone. I'm one of those people, thanks, bye.
Deliberate misinformation, post after post not on point, consistently wrong I am willing to wait for the supporting evidence any link or any manufacturer on the above
Time & time again, the reason I didn't get an account here is as not X I don't want to be followe. Due to the sheer number of posts and unwarranted support the comparison is that Darling Yext is an INFLUENCER? People are believing the 5000+ BS post
A very vindictive, self obsessed totally ignorant commentator, and that's just the good points. This article will now be about me and my experiences, NOT Samsung S24 what to expect, or the 10 plus posts in each article it pollutes.
I have had my fill with Darling Yext so yes proactive when on same article. I it should be WE, don't want to read the drivel comments in reply to genuine comments, I don't want to read misinformation, or I have a different phone here isn't a relevant fact.
News 07/01/24 in another arena it should hopefully make this arena is an article about Samsung being upset about these "leakers" Evan Bass has been singled out so far with, the specs posted 'GALAXY S24 FAMILY' apparently are not real, as if there were any doubt.
The image is near universal indeed this article we are commenting on is entirely base on rumours
Apple and Samsung have taken issue, Evan Bass has had to remove images posted on X due to Samsung copyright infringement. They are saying things without authority, knowledge and using Samsung image.
You only have to read the comments in response that many actually believe this is real!
Pricing, Titanium frame, batteries, charging, same camera, Exynos 2400 benchmark V Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, LTPO screen, 4K @ 120 FPS (actually still testing)
All because someone on X posts without actual knowledge information they state not Simon Says more Samsung didn't say together with an S24 image
The classic comment "No this feature No Buy" especially Exynos.
All this without one shred of proof offered, I posted it in X so it had to be true.
Hopefully Samsung will release a press statement e.g 'Samsung Technology have not released information or is the practice of releasing' and list these characters by name.
These are not leak but fabrications using unauthorized copyright Samsung image.
These now totally dry show they cannot create meaningful standalone content.
If Darling Yext posted accurate information I have no issues with or need reply, as long as Darling Yext has an input device this will be the new minimum standard worldwide.

You just ignored the added value part as well, but get this, as I've already mentioned specifically to you in another comment section months ago, I have a Galaxy Note 10+ as well. Do I have a 45W Samsung charger for it? No, but what I do have are Infinix 180W chargers that are perfectly competible and capable of charging the Note 10+ with 45W, which is simply awesome.
