What I am to expect is nothing. This series is absolutely for peoples who own Galaxy 10 series and older.

Not at all, but you are always quick to jump to an assumption. My phones aren't draining fast at all, not unless you'd call 7 hours of SoT "fast draining", which it isn't. I'm just simply not willing to slow charge my phone overnight, as in my experience that hurts the battery the most.

If they are selling their own stuff, they are bound to sell it for cheaper, and, those who are using someone else stuff, should sell for more, in order to make profit. And so, Apple should be selling for cheaper and Samsung should be selling at a higher price (according to your logic).

you have to suffer, 04 Jan 2024Li-ion batteries?? what is this 2017?? even their midranger... moreThere is a reason why many Flagships use Li-Ion. Even though it is slower to charge than Li-Po counterparts, Li-ion retain their life better, which means it can last for longer and take on more charging cycles with less battery health degradation. Also they are more energy dense.
Yes, Li-Po batteries have gone through a lot of development and has become a lot better, but even still, it is not better than Li-ion.

Qualcomm SM8650-AC Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 (4 nm)
CPU Octa-core (1x3.3 GHz Cortex-X4 & 5x3.2 GHz Cortex-A720 & 2x2.3 GHz Cortex-A520)
GPU Adreno 750 (1 GHz)
THIS is a welcome sign!
Notice the SoC this year is again an AC variant while the competition is still an AB?!
Return of the SnapDragon for Galaxy!!!

DBS, 04 Jan 2024I expect the same oversized, featureless garbage than last ... moreOK, but answer me this: why do you need to change phone every year?
Most people change it every 2 or 3 years and in that time, even the incremental upgrades add up, so after that time it makes more sense to choose the same line, but a newer model.
I guess I can see why someone changing a phone every year may find upgrades insufficient. I just don't see why anyone reasonable would do so, leaving a small margin for an actually logical argument to do so. Just haven't seen one here yet.

Except if you actually compare models in the same segments, they're not that much cheaper. 13PRO is so expensive it's actually the part in which it can compete with S23 Ultra, so it's far from a "fraction of the cost", unless you mean like 29/30th of the cost.
Here in Poland, 13Pro 5G costs 6299 vs 6499 for S23U 512GB. That is hardly a difference to give Xiaomi a shot.
The times of "flagship killers" the likes of first OnePlus are long gone, my friend.

s24 is still using s22's camera. isn't it a bit outdated? vanilla models must get an upgrade in sensor sizes for main and zoom lenses just like iphones did last year.

I expect the same oversized, featureless garbage than last year, but now with a crappier processor for those of us in Europe.
And, just like last year and all the years since TM Roh took over and turned Galaxies into just iCrap-wannabes, it'll be another sales flop.
I'm done with Samsung. I absolutely loathe the garbage S23 I'm using and I can't wait to get rid of it. I wish I knew how to code ROMs, 'cause I'd be slapping one on my old S10e to fix the battery drain that Samsung created with the final S10e update.

Probably, the better camera set up would be ultrawide, wide, 5x mid zoom (instead of 3X) and 10x telephoto (instead of 5X). It's quite a stretch for the 5X telephoto to go to 10X and beyond and the gap between 3X and 5X is a bit narrow.
