It's too early to promote iPhone 16 so I guess it's the users' fault and they were updating them wrong.

      It's a feature! not a bug! ~ⓒⓡⓐⓟⓟⓛⓔ

My company phone Iphone 14 just bricked (in the sense of a fixed lock screen) without an update-was not responding on one of the set up pages-rebooted it-then it was fine until verification email. I cannot even turn it off. Just today few minutes back. (recall was 17.2) (was not even updating it) Strange stuff on such a day. I could not go to any of the links for creating an Apple ID on the laptop (which I needed to) (regardless if I chose any link-then did it on the phone itself-the verification email process got it stuck)

I've been there before with no Rollback like iPhones, other Apple Product etc...

MiPC Suite doesn't downloadable like Xiaomi saying... you can't roll back without a Laptop or a MAC's, PC.

iOS has been getting more and more buggy over the past few years. It used to be rock solid over a decade ago.

Apple was testing a way to brick the oldest supported iPhones currently (the xs and xs max) so they can get whoever is still using them to buy a new phone but they "accidentally" released it across all iPhones
              Common mistake, happens to everyone

doesn't bricked mean not going to ever turn on again? so the option of rolling back the update is out of the window and so is that phone...
