Samsung is working on a 50W dual USB-C charger and a new 45W charger

We don't expect any of the Galaxy S24 phones to go above 45W, the small S24 will even be capped at 25W.

              Aierlan, 05 Jan 2024Yeah, basically all brands claim to be doing stuff to prote... moreand wired earphones are considered e waste while it does not require batteries to work. and removing 3.5mm jack makes iphones "waterproof" those type of people probably get brainwashed and greenwashed by a 3 trillion dollar trendsetter company. samsung makes fun of apple but they do it themselves. such pathetic business model like this should be illegal at any region.

Things like having no headphone jack and selling wireless earphones instead however are environmentally unfriendly as these wireless earphones need to be charged regularly using more electricity. Similarly wireless charging is less efficient and uses more electricity than wired charging so that should not to offered if they really want to reduce emissions and protect the environment

                                      Congrats Samsung, you're late to the party with your charging bricks.

                                        Li-Pol is the same thing as Li-Ion, it's a subset of it. Li-Pol is a Camry, Li-Ion is a Toyota. All Camry cars are Toyota, but Toyota is bigger subset including also some other models. Same with lithium batteries. Pol just means polymer form factor, to make more flat or weird shapes.

                                        And Samsung shipping 25W model phones in year 2024 is pathetic. Like A55. 45W is a little better but will be probably insanely priced additional accessory. Disappointing.
