And I'm not kidding when i say, that the S22+ is the worst Samsung flagship i've used. No phone lagged that much, had such bad battery life and freezed that much. I'm not keen to the Exynos chip and i don't want the Ultra because of the size so I'm thinking of switching to an iPhone maybe... I just hope the S24+ will have Snapdragon.

Exynos chipset is not that bad when you are not gaming or do heavy stuff on the phone.
I am actually thinking of buying a second hand S22+ in near future. The prices in Europe second hand market are good for this model. And they will get even better in 2-3 months, because of the S24 series.
And I don't mind Exynos chipset, I don't game or do heavy tasks on the phone, I have good laptop and PS5 for those.

Smallworld, 06 Jan 2024Boxy design isn't original at all. Remember Sony was... moreif you look, the original xperia z1 came as a near flat all round design with nicely sloped edges. i liked them, would be great to have one now with a full fit panel and a decent 108mp sony cmos and a 3.5mm.

              "Stuck with Exynos"

haha. Exynos became a bad thing.

Smallworld, 06 Jan 2024Boxy design isn't original at all. Remember Sony was... moreMaybe not original but there aren't a lot of phones that have this design compared to 99.9% other phones which all look the same with round corners

The best variant in my opinion. Not boxy and huge like ultra but not too small like the standard one. Waiting for it.

so the poor vanilla phone owners will also have to swallow the bitter pill of not being able to get rid of all the al junk they will bloat it with [those with a snap soc can at least put a clean rom on it]. they will also form the core group of guinea pigs who will have to endure constant changes to the the al junk [for better user experience of course] and all the unhinged data gathering it will provide.

I've been playing Genshin Impact at max settings using my POCO F5 pro (SD8+ Gen 1) and I can't imagine how powerful this might be...

Well samsung should stick to Mediatek D9300 to solve all issues.
But on the other hand if they have ti oay Qualcomm for using SD 8 gen 3 in their phones they would have to pay to Mediatek as well.
Then i dont understand why Qualcomm or Mediatek powered phones in samsung line cost exactly same as their own Exynos.

Rkm, 05 Jan 2024Weird move if true. I haven't seen a single person usi... moreI went for the plus coz personally I hate the sharp corners of the Ultra. But I'm agreeing with you, most people who bought the s23 series either chose the more compact vanilla or the Ultra. This time if I get cash, I will go for the S24+ and not the Ultra. Great to see the plus this time has a QHD display just like the Ultra. Anyway, we cannot all like the same thing.

What do you mean by almost at the last minute. The image with the series specs you shared in your previous articles clearly puts the Exynos only under S24, while the Ultra and + have the Snapdragon:
