Akashi Seijuro, 06 Jan 2024It's always those that never actually tried using MIUI... moreYour Poco F5 flies through everything because its using the Snap 7+ gen 2 and UFS 3.1.

A54 uses a much weaker mid rangeExynos, that achieves 50% lower Antutu score, closer to Dimensity 1080.

This comparisson has nothing to do with Miui, OneUI, HyperOS etc.

Pumpino, 06 Jan 2024I wouldn't call the 13T Pro a mid-range device, going ... moreI said midling, not midranger.
I meant that it's of ''lower status'' than their flagships.

No one who said 'xiaomi has got bugged soft' never use their 'flagship' phones. I'm not a Xiaomi fan but i used 11T, 12Tpro and now 13T (true coincidence, previously was 1+8, 1+8T and realme gt2). There were no errors in any of Xiaomi. Yesterday I did an upgrade to hyper os - everything works fine (battery is event better)

Pumpino, 06 Jan 2024Xiaomi restricting bootloader unlocking and its increasing ... morePixel are the best ones right now if you want to unlock the bootloader.

Smallworld, 06 Jan 2024Why is their 13T series better treated than their actual fl... moreSimple advice to you, never buy anything at launch price. D let them drop the price in three to six months and then pick up. Same is going to happen this year with OP12 and Xiaomi 14 Ultra.

Smallworld, 06 Jan 2024Why is their 13T series better treated than their actual fl... moreXiaomi 13 Pro already got Hyper OS update in China and India. Xiaomi 13 Ultra hot Hyper OS in China. So wait for it. Region wise it will vary for sure. They have lots of devices to push updates, so it will take time. Poco F5 got as well.

Pumpino, 06 Jan 2024I wouldn't call the 13T Pro a mid-range device, going ... moreFor sure. Nobody should purchase Xiaomi device at launch anymore. They will drop 200-300USD after few months and that's when ideally everyone should purchase the device. That's when you will get steal deal on any phone. Bugs will ironed out too after three or four updates. Especially, I have seen bugs getting ironed out in One Plus and Samsung(Recently with Nothing as well). Pixel as well. Pixel 7/7A/7 Pro performs way better than at the launch.

Hardware Hypervisor, 06 Jan 2024Idk.. my relatives only buy Xiaomi and they usually replace... moreThat's the problem with Xiaomi, and people are slowly realizing. Often times people buy Xiaomi phones are the cheap variety ones, where Xiaomi pre-installed them with ads and bloatware. A regular user will end up with poor experience. Add on the lack of software quality, and often times Xiaomi left older handsets with buggy OS as the last update. It's just bad. I only recommend Xiaomi phones to those using custom ROM, But that is changing also with HyperOS. So there is less and less reason to recommend a Xiaomi phone.

Only fanboys from developing countries would strangely defend this brand. It's weird, as if they think by doing so, Xiaomi would notice them or something. 🤣

SShock, 06 Jan 2024Apparently Poco X4 GT is planned to receive HyperOS. Neat.My X4 GT hasn't received it yet, but my F5 received it a week ago. The upgrade process went smoothly and the new skin has some interesting features, like battery optimization.

It is WAY smoother on the flagships.

They're also the ones complaining about getting malware on their phones. Meanwhile my A71 has been going strong for 4 years now. Currently at 82% battery health.
