They thought by doing that, they can cover more focal length by using native 2.5x zoom for potrait and crop zoom for longer focal length. In 2024, only Oppo will provide longer optical zoom at 6x. Even Samsung has regressed from 10x to 5x because they are changing to larger sensor.

        my iphone 11 is faster i am sure

          They look pretty good but they pricing is higher than expected. I think they could have priced both models about 400rmb lower to make them a more compelling option. Like the screen on the standard version. The curvature looks fairly subtle. Also the silicon battery tech is good as it allows these phones to have slightly bigger batteries whilst keeping the weight similar to phones with smaller batteries

            Shity optical zoom. I don't understand why manufacturers are free regressing on this aspect. My P30 Pro from 2019 had a 5x optical zoom. Since then, it's only getting downwards.

              The Magic5 Pro has a bigger Sony sensor for main camera and a longer 3.5x optical zoom.

                  High megapixel quadbayer is.
                  50MP bayer > 50MP quadbayer , anyone with knowledge of it agrees.

                  Quadbayer exists to increase profits, because costs are much lower.

                  Gimmick : scoring more points on antutu than snapdragon while being worse at everyhing else, while having zero marketshare when it comes to premium market.

                  Since you hate old tech (not really but who is using actually) , still want sony to use old tech called Exmor RS on their phones instead of new tech Exmor T because you favorite brand still does not have access to latest?

                      Looks far better than S24 Ultra also way more cheaper plus nice accesories in box i like it.

                        People says High mp is a gimmick

                        But high mega pixel for the periscope is basically checkmate to the nay sayers

                        It's a very practical application

                          Jesus christ, the screen is literally a eye scorcher and eye saver at the same time, and that PWM dimming is more higher than the Honor 90's 3840hz dimming itself
