            My old Pentium 166 MMX had 32MB ram and it was a beast at that time.
            In like 2-3 years 32 MB ram was bad.
            Phones of 10 years ago had 1-2 ram and were beasts now 8 is not enough for best latest and greatest games.
            Its not an overkill.
            It does not hurt phone or user to have more ram.

                        Pixel 8 adverts clearly put '*' on wifi 7 feature as wifi 7 ready and it's not a full implementation of wifi7 . It doesn't even have crucial wifi 7 features like wider 320 channel width , advance 8x8 MUMIMO and crucial features like multi-link operation.

                        Wifi 7 was finalized this year only in 2024 by WIFI alliance and officials certified devices will appear second half of these year.

                        All devicea sold untill now with WIFI 7* are nothing but unofficial half baked implementation.

                        A router which tick all wifi 7 spec is gonna cost way over $1000 mark especially those 8x8 which I doubt anyone here on this thread ever going to buy 🤡
