                    justasmile, 15 Jan 2024The Pros need at least 12 GB ram to run those console games well.Better to say 24 or 32 and at least 150W charging.
                    Depleting the battery in 2 hours on agming and another 2 hours waiting to charge the battery is just mEh.

                      Adroid phones have up to 24GB ram right at the moment even something as cheap as Xiaomi Redmi 13C have 8GB ram and 256GB of storage for as low as 129 euros.
                      All i want to say unless apple is going to give at least 16 or 24GB ram its useless because with 8G they will run maybe brownser, tik tok, facebook, maybe viber, twitter, instagram or signal app but thats it.
                      Apple is worst brand for gaming and making worst ram management phones which working only with most basic apps.
                      With 8GB of ram maybe they will run tetris, mahjong, chess, pacman, checkers or shoji but thats it.

                              Bottom line, you don't know what will happen in 6-7 years time at the end of the life cycle for iPhone 16 series.
                              It will be the same with fast charging, probably. I am not saying iPhones will have 120W charging capabilities. But I could see something like 45-60W in iPhones (maybe around 45-50 minutes for full charge).

                                    8GB RAM is exactly what the iPhone needed for better longevity. And I don’t care enough for 120 Hz enough to justify higher prices, I‘m even worried that when I get used to 120 Hz on a phone that every other display in my house will look laggy. The higher weight of the Pro models is a bigger sacrifice to me than 60 Hz. Those who think 120 Hz is a must can happily ignore the base iPhone and just get a Pro (but on this site, they wouldn’t get an iPhone anyway they just like to complain)

                                        Everybody already knows the iPhone 16 will get 8GB of RAM. This was already known even before the 15 launch.
