          As an American, it’s a shame that the majority of America is probably never going to shift away from iPhones… I saw a concerning number of people I know buy the vanilla 14 and 15 models when they came out here. The US market is going to be stuck mostly with phones like this for a loooong time at this point.

          I mean, thanks to carrier deals being basically the most popular way to get a phone here, all we (mostly) have is a Apple-Samsung duopoly. We do have Pixel and OnePlus and Motorola, but that’s it for carrier deals iirc…
